Confess some stupid stuff that happened to you
Confess some stupid stuff that happened to you
Okay, You know what the topic is. Let me start as to not make anyone else feel stupid.
1. I once chugged a blue pepsi and then chugged it so fast that Blue Pepsi really came out my nose. I looked like I just sneezed out a smurf.
2. Once I was dancing on some bench. {I don't remember why} and the bench toppled backwards while I was on it and smacked my head against the window behind me.
3. I had this job in which I had to fill the soda machine I swear it was a stupid job and I hated it anyways, My friend was pissed a slammed a soda down on the shelf I don't remember why. But at that moment a soda can hits me on the head And then I'm almost buried by at least 20 cans of soda.
4. I accidently fell off a stage
5. I fell down stairs numerous times.
6. I was ice skating and fell and literally did a split.
7. I wound up on crutches for about 1-2 months after playing baseball.
8. I had to get stitches in my finger after I was trying to dry a knife.
9. I fell on my butt roller skating also countless times
10. I fell on some brick scraping my arm pretty bad years ago.
11. I was sitting in some tree. Luckily the branch was very low and the branch snapped off.[Didn't know I weighed that much]
12.I have fallen on ice numerous times.
That's about it I know I am pretty clumsy.

ok:
A few weeks ago I was looking for the keys of my car and I couldn´t find it,I put all my house upside down and when I was leaving for th bus stop I closed the door and there they was, the keys were always on my right hand.
I was opening an "easy-2-open" tuna can when I almost cut off my finger, I needed 5 stiches

Hi
Ok here is one of my funniest experiences.
A couple years ago I watched for a Rare Video/DVD rental store. And this lady came in and rented a bunch of movies, and she was wondering who was the guy who had played Superman, that was in such bad shape. And I was thinking so hard to remember it, I didn't hear my sweet 74 year old boss say Christopher Reeves. And 5 minnutes I said, I know I know who it is, it is Christopher Reeves. And my boss said, I know that Chris! I said that 5 minnutes ago. I was like sooo totally embarrassed.

Not flat on my face. more like...hit my knee on the edge of the step while the other one is flat. I protected my face and all that with my book, but geeez.
Yea, so not only was Ryan helping me get up, but he couldn't stop laughing.

boys.
So now, I'm either clinging on the dirty rail with paper towel* under my hand or clinging to Ryan like I'm going to fall.

*I'm kinda a neat freak. I have hand sanitzers in my bags, car, and I used to have it on my keychain...till someone stole it.

so much for short-cut.

oh yea, you said, "STUPID STUFF THAT HAPPENED TO ME."

Our dorm has two parking lots- an upper and a lower. The upper is separated from the lower by a bank, and normally one just walks down the mulch, but I saw a little path of gravel going down it and thought, "oh, this must be for walking." I took a step onto it and quickly discovered that I was wrong... the gravel gave way underneath my feet; I tripped, fell, and rolled down the hill onto the parking lot below. I'm pretty sure a few people saw.
And another time...
I was very psyched about my first Amy Grant concert... it was her 2nd stop on the 2002 Legacy Tour. The whole way there I was insisting that I would request my favorite (at the time, at least) of her songs... her very first one, from 1977. It's called "Old Man's Rubble."
We-- I went with two of my friends-- drove 5 hours and got to the concert and scored the front row of the standing-room only pit in the House of Blues... the place was sold out (around 2000 people, I believe). The show strikes up and I'm elated.
About half-way through Amy looks over to Vince and says, "what should I sing next? I'm drawing a blank here." Naturally, my keen perception kicked in and I just knew that this was a hint for the audience to make requests. I prepared myself. I drew in a deep breath and prepared to outshout all the hundreds of screams I knew were about to come. I let it go. "OLD MAN'S RUBBLE!!!"
...Except no one else requested any songs. In fact, at that moment it just so happened that the entire arena had fallen silent. My voice, even louder than I had anticipated, reverberated across the stage and from wall to wall. Amy looked at Vince and shook her head; he did the same. Then she turned around and looked me right in the eyes, smiled, and said, "They kept requesting those songs last night too... yeah, that gets really annoying."
2,000 people all turned, locked their eyes on me and laughed. I laughed along... but I was embarassed (but also on a bit of a high, as Amy Grant had just spoken directly to me and made me part of the show).
She then flashed me an apologetic glance/smile and struck up the next song. She never sang "Old Man's Rubble" (shortly thereafter she commented in an interview or something that she had forgotten most of the lyrics and that her touring band didn't know songs that old), but for what it's worth, she kept making motions and glances towards me for the rest of the evening.
Oh yes, I am a legend among Amy Grant fans for that one (I actually sometimes see the story being told on message boards I've never visited).
Have I posted that here before? I hope not.

Aaron, how old were you when you yelled "OLD MAN'S RUBBLE"! Sounds like a good nickname your friends should call you!

after reading everyone's funny stupid moments, I'm so relieved that I'm normal (too).

Well, except HalRoachFan's post.

As a side note: this is what happens when you have no self esteem. You become a jaded self deprecating piece of poo.
On another note, I feel immortalized. (See: Krystal's sig.

I think letting people ponder how someone could break a bone playing musical chairs is far more interesting than spelling it out.

I'll leave you all with the image for a while...

This one time.. In band camp...
My most embarassing moment has to be when I was up a 20 foot ladder cleaning out a ventelation pipe and a baby squirell jumped on my chest and and got so frazzled that I jumped back off the ladder.. (20 feet up) and fell to my untimely embarassment... Didn't break a bone.

klutzy moments
I broke my arm falling off the monkey bars
I've fallen off the balance beam many times
I fall down and up the stairs very often (and it hurts)
I've fallen on my butt while rollerskating alot
I've tripped over my own two feet
I was a hunchback for a few months my sophmore year of high school - i had: scolosis, flatback and a muscle spasm in my back plus a severly pulled hamstring all at the same time. I couldn't walk upright for a few months, and it hurt to walk. Kids can be so cruel to people when they have an injury. But, I never missed a day of school. It eventually cleared itself up but the hamstring still give me trouble.
I've tripped over my own two feet while at my Irish Dancing class. We were practicing on the hard wood floor and I was wear my softshoes for the first time and I slipped and had a nice bruise left over.
It's official: I'm a klutz
