Alice In Wonderland + Dumbo: Should I, Or Shouldn't I?

Post by Iago »

OK. I love both of these films! I have preordered them from www.play.com but I have heard many bad things! They are both one disc editions, the video quality on Dumbo is not so great and I really don't know what to do! Somebody, please guide me! Should I, or shouldn't I?

Thanks!

Well, when all is said and done, the film is the most important thing. If you can't play R1 discs, or you don't have the means to import discs, I would say go for it. Alice won't be getting a better edition anytime soon, and given the re-issue of the Dumbo disc in the UK neither will Dumbo.

If you can get American discs, then I would recommend you get the American versions.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

The picture quality on "Dumbo" isn't all that bad on the R2 version really anyway. I say go for it both are top class Disney flicks IMO.
