Is something wrong with the pictures on this website?...
...or is something wrong on my end? I haven't seen any discussion about this anywhere so I'm beginning to wonder. For the last couple of days, none of the pictures on this particular website are loading on my computer. Is it just a temporary problem?

Yesteerday, I put an end to remote-image hosting so that sites stealing bandwidth from UD can no longer do so. It made a significant difference in the numbers and so for the foreseeable future, it's going to be like that. What address are you visiting UD from? If it's ultimatedisney.com...or even if it's the IP address....it should be working fine. Is there something that's between you and the site? I can't think of what, a proxy perhaps, that's causing them not to load?

What browser are you using too? Any toolbars? I'm trying to think of what might be causing the problems, but I can't think of much.[/list]

Can you get me a URL of any of the pictures you're not seeing by right-clicking and looking at Properties?

Here's a URL for the main forum logo at the top left corner- http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/mar05forumlogo.jpg
The only pictures that do load are links to Amazon, qksrv.net, click.linksynergy.com, etc.

I don't know if it would make a difference, but have you tried clearing your internet cache? The other day threads I started wouldn't un-orange after I read them for some reason, but doing that fixed it.

Do you have another browser on your computer? You can try it and it works fine on the other browser, then you can conclude that the problem exists somewhere in Internet Explorer (which would surprise no one). Of course if it still doesn't work on another browser that won't indicate much of anything.

And when you right-click somewhere on the page and click Properties, you get an address that also has http://www.ultimatedisney.com/.... something or other?HalRoachFan wrote:Here's a URL for the main forum logo at the top left corner- http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/mar05forumlogo.jpg

I opened up Explorer and looked around possible preferences that could get in the way, and nothing jumped out at me. Have you tried restarting your computer? If there's any sort of phantom program running or something like that, it would get cleared out.
