Your copy of Bambi, did it come with velcro?

Post by yanya »

My copy sadly came with no velcro. I called Disney because my Slipcover won't stay shut and they told me they used the little bit of glue this time rather than the usual velcro. It upsets me a little seeing as how the glue doesn't seem to work well...
Thanks to all that offered to help with my Avatar...Starion, RJKD23 and cj!

Mine did not come with it. My only choice was to get yjr velcro from one of my Aladdin slipcovers sice I got two, and glue it to the Bambi Slipcover. What was Disney thinking with this desicion, I was so mad when I opened the skipcover since that glue messed up some of the slipcover :x

I wanted velcro too but at least the glue is holding it. But not forever, I bet in a few months it'll lose holding power.

Nope, no velcro on my copy. Then again, the UK edition didn't open like a book in the first place, so there was no need for one. Therefore, I voted for "no...and I'm not too bothered!" :D

Anyone else think that the results are shaped like a rude finger gesture!?

Perhaps pointing at Disney in outrage at the lack of velcro?

No velcro for me... there weren't on any of them where I got mine. I'm sure people will be thrilled to see that I already checked their copy for them.

Looks like a good ol' cost cutting idea! I didn't have velcro on mine, either.

(However, I almost didn't noticed as I ripped the DVD out of the packaging to put it in my DVD player as fast as possible...) :)

Yes...I feel great sadness towards those that shall never know the joys of velcro. I feel really bad that you guys got the crap glue on yours but, really if I got the glue I would just go to a craft store and buy velcro fasteners...and get extra for Cinderella :)

unfortunately mine DID come with that waste of ink. Its such a waste and totally pointless especially when only certain movies come with the slip cover. If anyone wants my slipcover you can have it for free. I throw away all my covers and slip covers because I replace them with my own custom covers.

I bought mine at Future Shop and it was wrapped in plastic because of the CD that came with it. No Velcro but I never keep the slip cover anyway so it didn't bother me.

No velcro for me. But as long as the glue holds and doesnt rip the cover I'm fine with it. It is kind of cheap though
