Old Yeller Special Edition???

Post by Papa Bear »

On page 20 of the Spring 2005 Disney Magazine on May 3rd it says "Get out your hankies: Old Yeller SPECIAL EDITION is now on DVD." Has anyone else heard of any new release of Old Yeller coming out? I can't beleive that they would make any changes to the previous release because it was already put together so well. So if you have more info as to what will be different I would love to know.

It's probably just a rerelase of the exicting discs, or there is a price reduction, either way there is no new edition.

The Disney DVD Insider magazine inside Bambi lists "Old Yeller: Special Edition" for May, as well. I think they just got mixed up somewhere along the way. As far as I can tell, there is no re-release planned. But where this information saying this is came from, I don't know. I suppose it's possible, but I doubt they could or would improve on the fantastic 2-disc Vault Disney set.

yea...I was wondering about that too because of the flyer that comes with Bambi announces the "Old Yeller" Special edition as well! :) It'd be nice in my opinion! :)

I think that Disney DVD Insider got mixed up with Old Yeller: Special Edition in May and it should have been The Parent Trap (1998) : Speical Edition.
