Preparing for Bambi

Post by FantasiaMan »

What will you do when Bambi finally comes (besides watching it)?

I've got a truckload of popcorn, candy, soda, chips, dip and other movie-watching treats hiding in my secret stash. I probably have at least $30 worth of food hiding away. When Bambi finally comes, I'm having myself a 1-man party all night, eating all that food. :D

That sounds like a lot of fun, FantasiaMan. That's really the ultimate way to watch a classic movie/explore a new DVD. I don't treat myself to it nearly often enough. Right now I'm just wondering when I'll be able to get out to Best Buy (getting anywhere off campus is a very time-consuming affair)... hopefully I don't have to wait for that weekend!

We still have lots of Chips, Veggie platter stuff and cookies from my daughters birthday last weekend too. That will work.

I plan on buying the DVD during Spring Break along with The Incredibles. I'll watch Bambi during the middle of the day while eating lunch, and then immediately after, I'm checking out all of the bonus material though the afternoon and evening (except Walt's Story Meetings, which I'll save for the next day). In case you're wondering, yes, I go through DVD bonus materials regularly in one day, but only for 1 and 2-disc sets. 3-disc or more becomes an exception (though I have gotten through all the documentaries for each Lord of the Rings: EE in a day).

Thanks to everyone regarding the avatar.

Noriel's ice cream idea is a good one though. Surely it will help to get back the Bambi's mother scene. :D

That hardly matters, of course, since Bambi is a priceless work of art anyway.

I'll be in the dark simmering in the masterpiece that is Bambi.

I wish I knew other Disney nuts, but at 16 there aren't too many, and those that are keep it secret. Anyone live in the Rhode Island area?

I'm going to the wal-mart and buying it at midnight with a bunch of friends! it's gonna be great. i heard that when the notebook came out on dvd that there was a line waiting for it at our walmart!!! i thought that sounded hilarious so i'm going at midnight to buy bambi to see if there is a line for that too! if there is i'll take pictures, lol. Then i'm coming home and watching it! i already have it planned out that i'm not gonna go to my first class that next morning. that's right, i'm skipping class so i can sleep in after watching bambi! haha, sometimes i wonder if i should question my priorities... then i forget about it and do whatever i want, lol!

Hi:

Since I have buyed already(the best from living in Mexico  ) I´ll tell you what I did:

I put my tv volume in maximun, hang out the phone--so it can´t be interrumptiong calls-- make a Pop-corn bol and a big Kalpico(an excelent japanese drink) glass and see it.

By the way, you can see the 1st disc documental and the movie at the same time(in fact, the documental runs whit the movie in a little window like on the PIP function--if you don´t know which is it, is the one to see 2 programs at the same time)you can ear the documental and at the same time the movie(but the movie like in "off" or a lower volume)

Also, play the games, there are some than really entretain you :)

see yaa
