Favorite Music?

Post by Jayden »

Hey Guys!

I just got to thinking. What are the tunes from the Animated Classics that you really love? The ones that stick in your head for ages. I'm curious about what everyone thinks is the best songs from the many animated classics (specifically those that use music to progress the storylines). So list them here, I'm really curious.
Here are mine:
Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs: The Work Song/Heigh-Ho
Alice In Wonderland: The Unbirthday Song
Peter Pan: You Can Fly
Sleeping Beauty: Once Upon A Dream
The Sword In The Stone: Higgitus Figgitus
The Jungle Book: I Wanna Be Like You
Robin Hood: Prince John (I think that's the name of it, it's the one they sing during the play where they make fun of Prince John)
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh: I'm Just A Little Black Raincloud
The Little Mermaid: Les Poissons
Beauty And The Beast: Gaston
Aladdin: (Tie) Prince Ali, Friend Like Me and Prince Ali (reprise) (as sung by Jafar)
The Lion King: Be Prepared
Pocahontas: Savages (Both parts 1 and 2)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame: Hellfire
Hercules: Zero to Hero
Mulan: I'll Make A Man Out Of You

That's it. List yours here. It doesn't have to be from every animated classic, as you can see I missed a few. This is because it's been ages since I've seen the ones not listed (or not at all in some cases) or there is no standout song to speak of really (like in Lilo And Stitch)

If you like the weird ones (like some of mine) (i.e. Prince Ali (Reprise), Savages, Hellfire and Les Poissons) don't hestitate to include them.

P.S. Yay! My 100th post!
Cheers!
Jayden!

From the ones that are immediately popping into my head...

"The Bells of Notre Dame" and "Hellfire" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame," "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty, and "Prince Ali" from Aladdin.

There are tons more, of course, but I'm having another one of those brain farcts. ^^;
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Lion King: EVery song

Lion King 2: We are one/ Love will find a way

Brother Bear: On my way

Lady and the Tramp 1: Bella Notte

Lady and the Tramp 2: I don't really know the name of the song. It's the song Scamp sings about family after he was nabbed by the dog catcher.

Aladdin: A whole new world/Friend Like me/ Prince Ali

That's about all the songs I remember. I know I really need to collect more Disney movies.

There's some I haven't heard in such a long time... I'll post what comes to mind:

I Wonder
Once Upon a Dream
I also like some other 'songs' from Sleeping Beauty, such as the one sung when the fairies are giving their gifts to Aurora.

KISS THE GIRL!!!!
Part of Your World

Beauty and the Beast
Belle
Something There

A Whole New World
One Jump Ahead (is that the correct name?)

Reflection
I'll Make a Man Out of You
True to Your Heart
Honor to us All (I only like it when I'm seeing the movie)

All I think of now that I really like...
