is there a chart? some kind of Box office or something, it could be interesting what disney dvds are the best selling of all , the most succesful one....

Well, Disney dvd's have started selling only when "Snow White" was released in 2001. Prior to that, only the Pixar films sold something. The 'Limited Edition' line up was a flop, as is the rest of the dvd's Disney released around that time.
However, as I said, "Snow White" changed all that, and sold 7 million copies on DVD. I assume it's gone up a little since 2002 or 2003, but not significantly as it's been out of print for a long time.
Next, "Beauty and the Beast" sold 6 million copies. I believe it equaled the amount of "Snow White" by now since it's been available in stores longer than "Snow White".
"The Lion King'", released in 2003, sold about 13 million copies, ironically, it's the weakest of all the platinum releases thus far in terms of bonus features.
"Aladdin"'s sales are still to be announced, but I predict it to top 9 or even 10 million by now.
"Mulan" is still to be announced as well. I predict 5 million.
As for other Disney dvd's:
"Sleeping Beauty" - 2 million copies. Yes, it's relatively low but don't forget this was never one of Disney's strongest titles as far as sales go.
As for "The Little Mermaid"... Amazingly, it keeps selling strongly on Amazon, where it's constantly top 100 on the DVD chart, and often higher than either "Aladdin" or "The Lion King" or any other platinum release. Other 'Limited Issue' titles are in the 200-500's of the chart. It can either sign big sales for the Platinum edition coming in 2006 or perhaps hurt its sales since people keep buying this rotten edition with a subpar video and audio quality. Anyway, I predict big numbers for "The Little Mermaid". I have a feeling it'll sell more than the 6-7 million copies sold by "Snow White" and "Beauty and the Beast". The anticipation among people is just huge.

By that regard, I don't think <i>Mulan</i> has sold more than that or even as many even. By comparison, <i>The Lion King</i> had sold 7.99 million units by December 31, 2003.
As for <i>The Little Mermaid</i>, I imagine most of the copies being sold at Amazon are reasonably-priced bootlegs. There's no way for Amazon to really monitor that Marketplace activity effectively.

I really am surprised. I thought people were really awaiting "Aladdin" to be released on DVD.

I think Aladdin was a big seller internationally. I remember Shrek 2 entered the chart at #2 here in Holland, right below Aladdin's second weekend of sales. It took over in Al's thrid week, but still impressive. I've never seen advertising like that for a platinum edition. Not all that dissapointing. I expect Little Mermaid to become the biggest selling re-release on dvd. I honestly believe it is more popular than the Lion King.
