The Twilight Zone DE set

Post by DEREKG »

Hello!

I just got back from Disneyland last week. Had a blast! Weather was perfect. No long lines. Awsome! Anyway, after riding the Tower of Terror several times it dawned on me that I really miss watching the old show. I remember watching it growing up. I've done some looking around and noticed they have 5 box sets available. I also saw the Gold Series collection for big bucks. Now I see there's a Definiative Edition Vol 1. Its suppossed to have the best transfer and sound of the bunch. Plus, many extras not found on the other set's. I think I'm going with it. I see Vol 2 is due end of next month with the rest following every 3 to 4 months.

Does anyone own this set?

I really like how the other collections look in the box Vol by Vol.
Is the DE set the same way?

Any opinion's would be great!

Thanks... :)

How are the DVD's packaged?

Are they in seperate slim cases or one big case?

Seperate slim cases. I have only watched one episode but the transfer and sound were very good considering the vintage.

Received DE set last night.

Awsome! :thumb:

I stayed up late watching all of disc 1.

I love this old show, even though I was born in "74". The black and white adds to the effect. Love it! The picture and sound are the best they can be for the age of the film.

I'm afraid I've crossed over into

THE TWILIGHT ZONE
We can't stop here! This is Bat Country...
