Funny Disney Theme Park Stories

Post by Wonderlicious »

I didn't know if this should be in general discussion, but as my story I have to tell thee does not contain any Disney DVDs, I decided to post it here.

Last August, whilst at Disneyland Paris trying to bide time before the Fantillusion parade, my bro needed the toilet so we went into this little restaurant in Frontierland where they had character meals called The Lucky Nugget Saloon. It was getting late and it was obvious that the people dressed up as characters were getting bored trying to be nice to everybody, so as few people were still there, they decided that it was time for some fun. Chip took Friar Tuck's girdle and tied up Dale in it. Then, Frollo (villain in Hunchback if you don't know his name) and Chip dragged Dale around the stage by the rope.

Has anyone else got some chuckle-worthy Disney theme park tales to tell?

It seems the characters at DLP can allow themselves to fool around quite a lot! Both times I've been there we had an 'incedent' with one of the characters.

Back in 1997 we ran into Jafar. Obviously, seeing how I was little, Jafar decided to 'pick' on me. He started scaring me with his snake staff. Then the penguins from Mary Poppins saw this and they came to the rescue! :D They stepped on his cape and made fun of him. Very cool moment.

I also had the chance to visit this last Septmeber. We were walking through the park when suddenly we saw Frollo wondering about alone. Since I have developed a certain anger to the character (he was so mean in the movie :P ) I booed him! He started chasing me, and scared the heck outa me!

It's very fun when characters interact and don't just sign autographs. It seems this isn't the case at Disney World where it's always jam packed with people. Characters can't be fun.

Ooooh! Ooooh! I've got one! Pick me! Pick me!

Once, at Disney World a few years ago, I was obsessed with the autographs thing. I went over to Cruella, but I didn't have a pen. So the actress looked over at this other girl, and in this Cruella accent said "Gimme your pen!" Scared the crap out of me and the other girl.

It was freakin' hilarious.
Man has a dream
And that's the start
He follows his dream
With mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true
For you and me!
