High and low Treasures tin numbers

Post by HalRoachFan »

Any of you have high or low tin numbers in your Treasures collection? My "Mickey Mouse In Black and White #2" is number 173,263 of 175,000, and it came from my local Wal-Mart just before Christmas. "Mickey Mouse In Living Color #2" is number 17,256 of 175,000. Not too terribly low, but still.

And another somewhat unrelated question, how many of you saved the "Victory Through Air Power" sticker that was on the shrinkwrap for On The Front Lines and put it on the tin like I did?

My Pluto treasure is in the 12,000s.

I have the sticker on the shrink wrap which is still around the tin. (The treasure is out of the tin for color swatch display and easy access)

Would I be that sad? Apparently so! :D
Did the same with the Pluto "Volume 1" sticker.

Oh, and My Mickey Mouse In Living Colour 1 is 4,639 of 150,000.

All of mine are really high. The lowest ones were actually shipped fromt he US. I'll have to check my numbers. Actually I might post em all later.

A friend of mine has one of the last ones in either the Donald tin or the Mickey Mouse in Living Colour 2.

Here are my numbers:
On The Front Lines: 009,439/250,000
Mickey Mouse In Black And White Volume 2: 169,337/175,000
Mickey Mouse In Living Colour Volume 2: 098,502/175,000
And
Mickey Mouse In Living Colour Volume 1: The Ultra-rare JAY-001  (For those that don't know my experiences with this set: I bought it previously rented from Blockbuster Video (For $12.99 Canadian) and it came in the wrong case (a BBV rental case with Mickey Mouse In Living Colour written across with a tape like thing) without a tin, so therefore I have no way of really knowing what number it actually is. Instead, I scanned my MMLC V2 Certificate of Authenticity, erased the Volume 2 on it, and changed the numbers along the bottom to read "Jay-001/150,00)(I would post an image, but I'm not positive how to)
Silly Symphonies: JAY-002/150,000

My numbers:

Behind the Scenes - 115,434 of 125,000
Chronological Donald - 147,743 of 165,000
Complete Goofy - 17,681 of 125,000
Complete Pluto - 88,969 of 110,000
Mickey Mouse in B&W Vol. 1 - 111,442 of 125,000
Mickey Mouse in B&W Vol. 2 - 167,217 of 175,000
Mickey Mouse in Color Vol. 2 - 172,484 of 175,000
Silly Symphonies - 108,877 of 150,000 **
Tomorrowland - 6,675 of 105,000
On the Front Lines - 27,409 of 250,000

** just shipped from the Ebay seller this week, so I haven't received it yet; but that's the number the seller informed me is on the tin.

Unfortunately, I still have to pick up Mickey Mouse in Color Vol. 1 from somewhere, which will definately be more expensive to find still sealed. I only recently decided to get the Mickey sets, after luckily finding a new copy of Mickey in B&W Vol. 1 still at a store, though for a slightly higher price than MSRP. Still a bit cheaper than Ebay would've been, though. After buying that, I picked up the B&W Volume 2 set, along with the Color Volume 2 (which is still laying around at a few stores in Toronto).

Still looking for Silly Symphonies and Disneyland USA without having to pay over $50 like I've seen them go for on ebay.

The only treasure I have is The Chronological Donald vol. 1 since he's my favorite, lol. My number for that is 033,003 / 165,000 which looks like the lowest so far on the board for that particular treasure.

You know that it was Rudiard Kipling that wrote The Jungle Book and if that was the inspiration for Baden-Powell when he made The Cub Scout movement then it had nothing to do With Walt Disney. The Cub Scout organisation was made long before Disney made a the movie, even before Walt himself was born.

Karlsen - yeah I pointed that out already that Baden Powell had died in 1941 and it was kind of unlikely Disney had any effect on him.
