italian DVD Alice in Wonderland

Post by aloha »

Hi to everybody
I write from Italy to complain me against the Disney and its subsidiary Buena Vista Italy for the exit to a one disk of the DVD of Alice In Wonderland. You as forum, have a direct contact with
someone of the Disney who knows how to explain how come the Italian market is treated this way badly? And then The lion king has gone out with the wrong Italian language of the characters of timon and pumba. Help me if possible with all the available information, and if even there pits someone of the Disney Co. that can give me some information.
A big regard

You know, you're not the only country who was treated with only one disc. We here in Finland get only one disc too and the extrars are very stupid if you ask me. Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the whole Europe got only 1-disc despite of France who got the better version. I'm just going import the US version because I really want to see the movie with great extras and not only with one or two things.

I'm not sure, but I think that the extras are just a little bit too much for the children (aren't all the DVD:s released here in Scandinavia for example intended mostly for the kids?). Maybe the extra material is just too old and isn't that interesting when it comes to what kids like to watch, I don't know.

But I'm still very dissapointed about this. :(

I think I have to take my words back a little bit, because I think we're getting the 2-disc version. In the trailers in Home on the Range they talked about a "two disc edition" or something like that and then I asked a friend of mine in Sweden if they had the same trailer and he said yes. I'm still waiting for a response of Buena Vista.

Add Spain to the list of countries where Alice in Wonderland will be just 1-disc edition. Disney is keeping their policy of screwing their European costumers and treating them like shit. The last straw was the removal of Runaway Brain in the Mickey in Living Colour 2 in the Spanish edition (I think in Germany too). But with Alice in Wonderland they have gone too far.
They think we are stupid or what?? Well, except the French, of course. These guys always get the best deal!!
