Ultimate Disney Movie Awards 2005 - VOTING

Post by Jack »

Image

Welcome to the final voting stage of the Ultimate Disney Movie Awards 2005!

Below are listed the final nominees (determined by the collective nominations of the forum members in the first round). There are 5 movies nominated in each category. The rule is simple: vote for 1 film in each category that you think deserves an award. Anyone can vote – you don’t have to have nominated movies in the previous round to participate here.

Send your votes to my email: jnseiley@yahoo.com.
Please do not show your actual votes in this thread.
(Feel free to make a post saying you’ve sent your votes to me!)

The voting period will run from today, January 24th, 2005, through February 2nd, 2005. The winners will be announced in a special Awards Ceremony on Saturday, February 5th, 2005.

If there are any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to post them! A big thanks to all who participate!

~

Oh I was just compiling a list of how many nominations each film got. And I was all into it too. What a dork I am.

Here is the post, save for the list:

"Awesome job, Jack Jack.

Because I like to be dorky sometimes, I've counted the number of nominations each film has received..."
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president

I just sent mine too.

I wish I voted in the nomination round but I procrastinated too long. Some of the categories I voted for the lesser of the evils. :P Since it's awards and awards rarely ever turn out the way I wish (besides last year's Oscars) I'm not expecting many of my picks to be winners.

ONE UPDATE: The Awards Ceremony, in which the winners will be announced, will be on Saturday, February 5th. I moved it up one day, due to the Super Bowl being on the 6th. Expect it to be posted in the evening.

The deadline for voting has not changed, though - you still have through February 2nd to cast your votes (and for presenters to send their speeches in).

Thank you! It's still off by one, so if anyone else can figure out the error of my ways, it would be like the removing of a scab!
