Help with gold collection

Post by DisneyDvdFreak »

Hey can anyone help me out with a few things. My Disney collection is almost complete but since i only started in last year ive had to buy some of them from ebay. I always buy new sealed but somtimes you just never know. So my question is does the insert and disc of the gold colection read gold collection or do they still read limited issue? i know this sounds stupid but its a big deal to me any help would be gresatly appreictiated.

please be advised I have heard nothing but bad stuff about ebay from people who've dealt with them. One of those things that I've found out that would lead me to believe that you maybe have bought bootleg copies. Because there are people out there who have all the equipment to make these items in their own homes and charge money for them. If you don't think your copy is a genuine copy write to Disney about.

Well the product looks authentic to me. and i know ebay is bad but i have no choice. what i need to know is what the inserts read on gold collection dvds. the insert and disc. so if anyone has these and knows they are authentic (baught from store and what not) and they can tell me what they read that would be awsome

The Limited Issue discs and inserts WERE packaged within Gold Collection DVDs on pressings for a while. I think they've since been updated, but that was definitely the case on legitimate Disney Gold Collection DVDs ported over from the Limited Issues for a while.

I would not say that Ebay is bad, since they only are a open marked. There are lots of great finds on Ebay and you can even buy stuff from The Walt Disney Company on Disney. BUT since it is an open market you must do a little reasearch on the sellers before bidding. Read thru some of the feedback and stuff like that.

When it comes to Gold Collection packed with Limited Edition inserts and discs you can be sure that they most probably are autentic. I have several of them myself (bought straite from the store).

If a bootleger would make a bootleg then he would not sell it as a Gold Collection because he could get much more with a Limited Edition cover

seeing as how so many bad things come from a "New and Sealed" ebay item, i decided to take a risk and buy a used dvd. i felt alittle more confident because a bootleger would want to make the most money from a rare New item, than less money on a Used openned item. the seller i bought the DVD from has 0 Negative feedback and no mention of ever selling a fake, and has not sold the DVD twice like other ebay sellers who have an endless supply of them.

by the way, i bought Lady and the Tramp Limited Edition. it should be arriving this week. i only paid $15.00 for my DVD.

one year ago i was able to find a New and Sealed Authentic Beauty and the Beast Plaitnum Edition DVD, it took me a wile to find one i felt confident to bid on, and i did.
