The sole reason I plan to see this is because of Kristin Chenoweth's bit role.

I just saw the trailer of the Pink Panther to me it seem ok since Steve Martin and Jean Reno star in the film. But I'm wondering if it's a remake. :)

i heared that it was not a perqul or a remake but a reinventing of the films witch is why i alyways wanted it to be called"the brith of the pink panther" as it was before hand, or more aportily "the REbrith of the pink panther"

it was a good set but it was missing 4 films:Inspector Clouseau
The Return of the Pink Panther(not owned by mgm)
Curse of the Pink Panther (wich complets the cilfhager of the Trail of the Pink Panther)
and 1993's Son of the Pink Panther. also my discs keep falling out of the box. Do you think that mgm(or sony) will give me a new box if i wright to them?

Pink Panther cartoons

Post by mvealf »

In Japan they have 2 box sets, with 5 DVDs each of Pink Panther cartoons. I don't know if this is the entire collection, but 10 DVDs should be pretty close to all of them. Does anyone know the contents of these?<table border="0" width="1%">

The complete collection is available here in the UK:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002W13VQ/qid=1106940283/ref=pd_ka_1/026-5841020-5185207

But for some insane reason they are in a dummy 16:9 aspect ratio.

That is a 4 DVD collection. In Japan, it's 10 DVDs.

I love the Pink Panther! They are some of the funniest movies of all time! This new one with Steve Martin actually looks good! Though Steve Martin is no Peter Sellers, I think he'll do a good job! :)

So are the Peter Seller movies in fake wide-screen? Because I don't care much about the cartoons as long as the live-action movies are fine! :)

I knew that!(I own the set!) What I wanted to know is: Are the films in widescreen or fake widescreen? And studying your link it seems like it's just the cartoons! But I just wanted to make sure the live-action films were all in widescreen because I just wanted to maks sure!

Well it seems like it was just the cartoons that were in fake wide-screen. Phew that was a close one! I always want my DVDS to be perfect! And it seems like my Pink Panther DVDs are in mint condition! Sure the set's missing some films, but I think the only that might be good it "The Return of the Pink Panther"! Overall I love this set! :D
