Well, commercial Disney has their list of "Disney Classics", but I disagree with them. Just because a company releases them as such and claims them to be, it doesn't make them so. So I have composed my "official" Disney classic collection. Here it is:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Fantasia
Dumbo
Bambi
The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad
Cinderella
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
The Jungle Book
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Tarzan
Brother Bear
As you can see, this is a much smaller selection than Disney claims to have. I'm not saying that the others aren't good, they just aren't Classics. Any titles I didn't have in there that you disagree with? Any titles that I have in here you disagree wtih? Share your list. Give me your opinions, and have fun.
Your Own List of Disney Masterpiece
Well, Disney having a list of "Animated Classics" is more to distinguish the movies Feature Animation produces from other animated offerings Disney makes, rather than to say "these are all masterpieces." Disney knows that not all of them are outstanding - several of the titles on their AC list aren't treated as masterpieces at all, and get very little promotion. Just view the AC list as more-or-less a Feature Animation list.
Glad to see you included Ichabod & Mr. Toad in your list though! That is so often overlooked.

Yeah, I'd echo everything Jack said, down to the
for Ichabod. Outside of that, the films between Bambi and Cinderella don't do too much for me, and they lack a single narrative for the most part. So if anything were to be excised from the list, it'd be those 5 anthology films. But they shouldn't be, because they're from Disney's top animation men.
Slash, you forget Teacher's Pet: The Movie.
It's OK, I forgive you my child.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
