What part of UltimateDisney.com is most important to you?

In the nearly four years this site has existed online, it's grown a lot both in the number of people who visit and the number of things it has to offer. Our traffic this November is about three times what it was last November, we've more than doubled the number of DVD reviews this year (with over 100 new ones), and about 850 people have registered for the forum in the past 12 months bringing us to exactly 1300 registered users.

But out of all those people, I hear from very few of you what you like about the site and what you don't like (and usually, it's only disgruntled banned members sounding off in the latter). You are welcome to share any feedback on what you like or don't like on the site to feedback@ultimatedisney.com. I can't guarantee I'll reply, but I'll certainly read and take your comments into consideration.

I'm very interested in making sure this site gives you what you want.

Oh my, that's a tough question! What's more important to me? Is it what first attracted me to the site, or the components that make it such a valuable resource, or is what currently keeps me coming back to the site more than anything else? And then what about the things that aren't necessarily among the most important but are very fun- where do they fall? I love all the aforementioned components and even others as well. This will be tough for me to rank, but I will do it! I'm just going to have to think for a while first.

This is more or less in order of importance or actual usage but for example #2,3,4,5 kinda alternate places depending on the season and schedule of new releases of course..

The out of print checklist was what brought me here and the info on the other sections + the endless resources of the Forum what anchored me (forever?)

The countdowns/contests (and most poll and games) are last cus uuhh I don't follow those kind of things much (maybe I should so i'd have 20000 posts by now and an holographic 3-dimensional stereoscopic live avatar) (j/k)

The Coming To Theaters Page is very good but i don't go to theaters much (some of you know why ) so mmm tho i read it it's not much use to me till things are scanned into video but don't let a frustrated dethi stop you


Maybe falling into the cathegory of what's important or what you don't like about here, well, the other day i joined the other UDsite (Ultimatte Dreamworks) and (JUST kidding Luke don't have a seizure) but I did go into another forum (actually it was a music/mastering one that is very important) And the ONLY thing that I found there I'd like to have in this one was that the search function permitted you to choose "search on thread titles only". So that's the only thing I don't "like" about this site (I've learned to use a few tricks to narrow the searches here and it helps i'm ancient enought to have read many of the posts so I can use those tricks, but...)

I absolutely think that the DVD reviews and the information relating to future releases is simply amazing. I also really appreciate the fact that this site caters for international disney releases. The site is such a comprehensive wealth of disney info.

I mostly use this site for its great information and the sense of community, so that is why the first seven items are before the rest.

Contests and countdowns are cool but not essential.

The mailing list mostly rehashes what I already know as a regular visitor. Maybe you could implement a "Next Update" part of the site.

I'm sure the shop/search area is cool, but I continue to use Amazon and eBay.

Just keep delivering the latest Disney news, and I'll be a satisfied visitor.

Before I joined the forum - I quite often visited your website for information on upcoming releases and often read your DVD reviews. I'm sure the shop/search area is cool, but I continue to use Amazon and eBay.

To clarify, the shop/search area also uses Amazon.com, co.uk, .de, and .fr. It contains various categories and links to those 4 Amazon sites from around the world for Disney DVDs, books, games, etc. It's the ingenious creation of 2099net!

I'd like to have that too, but the best I can offer is the "Search the Site" via Google feature here:

It will turn up most of the pages on UD, and many of the most popular forum discussions, and the more relevant the discussion is to your search, the more quickly you should find it.

Like everyone else, the forum takes the top spot, since its the primary source of discussion and fun here at UD. However, aside from that, I'd say the DVD Reviews. The reviews here are so much more detailed and informative than 80% of the other reviews on the web. While most others just skim over the contents of the DVDs, and don't offer any screencaps, UD does the opposite. I wish all reviews, Disney and non-Disney, could be done like this!
