Personally I think the opening of TLM (where the film opens up with Prince Eric's ship sailing on the ocean) will make good use of the surrounds. And a DD 5.1 mix does much more than pep the movie with boomy bass and crisp dialogue, such as discrete surrounds and panning effects (like something flying from the right speaker to the left speaker). I looked up the sound re-recording mixer for TLM, and like Mulan and Aladdin, TLM has the audio mixed by Terry Porter (who has done the sound for a lot of Disney live-action and animated films, including the Eloise and Santa Clause movies).
