Post by umbreongirl »

Welp, I'm a cartoon freak.
If you are too (u don't have to be), post your favorite disney/non-disney cartoons here. ^ ^ Don't be embarrased or anything.
Here are mine (ones with * at the end is my most favs):

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends*
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
Invader Zim
Fairly Odd Parents
Danny Phantom
My Life as a Teenage Robot
The Powerpuff Girls
Digimon: Digital Monsters*
Pokemon
Case Closed*
Inuyasha
Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
Teen Titans*
Teacher's Pet
Doug

Those are most of mine. Tell us yours. :)
Note: The Doug series from Nickelodeon is MUCH better than the Disney one. Just wanted to let you all know, I dun like the one they show on Toon Disney.

My current favorite is Lilo & Stitch: The Series. I also like older ones, like Garfield & Friends. And obscure ones like Watership Down: The Series. I prefer the Disney cartoons on Toon Disney, or Disney Channel, to any other ... though I don't like all of them, just certain ones. Like I think Kim Possible is okay, but outside that and L&S, none of the other current Disney Channel ones have my attention. And I never watch CN or Nick, myself ...

I'll watch Recess. I think that's a clever one. I never saw much of the old Doug, but I though the new Doug was pleasant enough ... and I will admit to liking PB&J Otter. Shrugs. It's a guilty pleasure, say. But I don't mind watching that one ... if I'm around when it's on, like in winter or something, or a rainy day. Back in the day, I used to watch things like Sonic the Hedgehog and other things ... that they don't air anywhere anymore. Magic School Bus can be entertaining, if bizarre. I watch that when I can, but it's rarely on in any consistent pattern. Used to be on PBS, then FOX, now ... I don't know. And I watched Tom and Jerry a lot ... when I was younger. But haven't seen it in quite awhile.

All my favorite cartoons have been off the air for YEARS now...

I'm still waiting the day Warner Bros. release "Animaniacs" on DVD. I'm also waiting for MTV to release "Daria" in its original form (the music originally used on the TV show) on DVD as well.

For now, I can always watch (and download) my favorite cartoon "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" at Yahooligans! TV (while still waiting for all the episodes to be put on DVD, as well.)

You're right! I forgot about all the great old WB cartoon shows! I loved Animaniacs and the short lived Histeria (very educational funny show!)! All the songs were so cleverly done! Though when I was looking online for news about Histeria, I found out the guy who wrote all the songs died :( . My favorite was the song about the Tudors and Henry VII or V or something. I'll always remember Loud Kiddington's way of remembering Henry's wives: Divorced, Beheaded, Died; Divorced, Beheaded, Survived! That was such a great show...

I also remember Tiny Toon Adventures which they used to replay on Nickelodeon after school.
