Disney Treasures wave 4 ... production numbers??

Post by PhilMo »

Does anybody know the production quantities for the 3 Treasures tins being released on Dec 7? Or when these production quantities will be announced?

No, they haven't been announced yet (I have sneaky suspicion they won't be announced in advance this time, but I have no clue really). I'm sure Luke will post them on the front page as soon as he gets the info.

I'm sure after last wave's fiasco, they will only be announced when all retail orders are in!
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

You know what seems odd is that I just checked the Disney video web site and I don’t see these three titles on the general release calendar. I don’t really see any promotion for these titles. That seems very odd since they are coming out in less than a month. I also saw a 3-4-page advertisement in Family Circle that doesn’t mention them at all either. Is it possible they are planning on delaying these titles again? Or have initial sales been too poor to release them. Is it possible that these will be released tin less and not numbered????

In order to prevent myself having a seizure I am going to pretend you didn't type that and that everything is fine ( I am sure it will be).

Maybe, just maybe...they're delaying them to add another Treasures set like the rumored True Life Adventures? Or maybe they'll do Chrono Donald Volume 2!

I personally don't mind that Disney doesn't seem to be going all-out in promoting these. For one thing, it's a niche market and those who have bought the Treasures in the past probably know this new wave is coming in December, savvy. For another thing, people looking for information can find our growin' community and join in the UD fun!

Mickey Mouse Club: 130,000
Mickey Mouse in Black & White Volume 2: 175,000

Not yet sure about Pluto but I'd make an educated guess of 165,000.
