Let the REAL election begin - Vote for YOUR Disney leader!

Post by gaysnappercarr »

Whether you're ecstatic about the results of the election or licking your wounds, here is a poll that is sure to be more hotly contested than the US Presidential Election!

Name YOUR favorite Disney ruler.

My ground rules were that the 'Leader in question' had to be alive by the end credits (sorry Mufasa and The Queen from Snow White  ) and be SOME kind of leader/ruler.

And unlike last nights election this election invites votes from all across the world!

I'll hold off casting MY vote for a few days. Please let us know WHY you voted for your choice (ESPECIALLY in the 'Other' catagory, since I tried to get every ruler from the 44)!

Okay - so by my own rules I messed up!

:(

King Hubert (Sleeping Beauty) and King Richard (Robin Hood) should be in the poll but Kerchak (Tarzan) and King Kashekim Nedakh (Atlantis: The Lost Continent) should not be included for non-spoiler reasons! LOL

Is there anyway for me to edit the poll listings? Thanks

A very wise and handsome meerkat told me of my mistake so I thank him!

* Wow, is this like a Florida or Ohio 'cause for recount' action?

It would have to be Zeus from Hercules not only because he's a mythology character but because he's has power and is very strong. :)

Queen Mousetoria, the bossy English ruler. Possibly inspired by Margaret Thatcher...

King Triton. No terrorists would dare mess with the U.S. if we had a president as huge as him. ;) Of course, there's the issue of carrying him around in a tub of water, but we'll ignore that. :P

No, there's not. Good move in not trying to edit it! But I'll try and edit it and let's hope it turns out alright.

Thanks Luke for your help - it is MUCH appreciated!

Surprisingly, the character that I thought would be leading - isn't, and no one has voted for the character I'll be voting for.

Hmmmm, maybe once the campaigning starts the results will change a bit!

The Emperor of China! Yay Mr. Miyagi! 8)
Anyhow, he seemed the wisest out of all of them and Mulan is my favorite Disney feature.

My vote actually goes to Queen Minnie, who was deleted from the final version of Fun and Fancy Free.

For a leader who made it to the big screen, I'll choose the emperor from Mulan.

I'm with you!! Mufasa looks so build up, strong, and looks incredible- he would get my vote but since he's not there I'll pick his son, Simba.

Good for him!

I voted King Richard from Robin Hood! If Robin and his friends loved him enough to fight that hard to keep his kingdom from becoming corrupt, then he must have been a pretty good leader!

. . . then again, if he left it for so long in the hands of such an incompetent fellow, maybe he's not so great after all . . . hmm, I'm torn; there should definitely be debates!
