I'm not wasting my time on any radical groups... I really didn't want to put Nader. I probably should have just put the main two and then "Other".

I think we should all vote for the candidate who promised slipcovers that "open like a book" on all DVDs.
What? There isn't one? Nobody mentioned DVD slipcovers? Not even after the October surprise of Mulan with no "book opening" on its slipcover? How lame. They have all let us down.

Kerry is going to win, here is why...
I have been thinking about this for the past two days. The polls are all saying it's a dead heat, right? First of all, I predict the largest voter turn-out in years... THAT will be the big story of this election. The American voter has returned. And who are these new voters? They are all undoubtedly for Kerry. I have been talking to some idiots I know who have never voted, do not like politics because they are boring, and think smart people are nerds. They are voting this time... they are voting for Kerry.
None of them have been polled... In fact, I haven't met anyone to date who HAS been polled. Not that that matters, you could say just as many Bush voters haven't been polled. My point, though, is that polling is absolutely worthless. There is a HUGE contingency of people that have not been accounted for. They don't poll people with cellphones and if you think about how many young people have cellphones these days, not counted AND they only target "likely voters" which essentially means that only the people who have voted in past elections are being considered. The number of first time voters in this election are astronomical and a high turnout of young people and minorities usually favors the democratic candidate. Kerry will win on the backs of new voters.... people who were probably jolted awake by 911 and were kept awake by this president's garbage run.
I think Kerry will win, the voters will be plentiful... and ultimately, I think this will show voters that their vote does count when we kick Bush out. This will then get them to KEEP voting... and I think the democratic party is going to become ridiculously strong. Voting Kerry in after the trauma our country has faced, and the fact that Bush is easily the most hated president since Nixon (also a republican) will make lifelong democrats out of many, MANY people who have never cared about politics either way. I think this might be the impetus behind a huge tilt to liberalism for our country in the next 100 years.

Vote
I would vote for George Bush till the death, I mean after all John Kerry said:"that if he is elected as president,he plans on changing the draft, and everybody would have to go"

Bush, of course. It's going to be an interesting night, regardless of the outcome. The buildup will be fun, but I'm not sure about the outcome... This could go SO many ways. Any and all previous political indicators mean jack this time around. It's so close that they all contradict each other. This election has morphed into an animal of its own, and tonight tradition will be bunked and history will be made, whoever wins.

I was actually referring to close call, landslide, lawsuit to Supreme Court (made even more interesting by the current Rhenquist situation), election sent to house, recounts or concession, etc... These are all possibilities.

Re: Vote
Please let me know where you got that QUOTE saying Kerry would reinstate the draft. If I were going to bet on someone who would have to do that it would be Bush with his nation building in Iraq (which was NOT part of the war on terror, NOT possessing WMDs, NOT involved in 9/11). Soon to be President-Elect Kerry would like to get our former allies to help us shoulder the burden. Bush is willing to go anywhere/everywhere with the UK, Poland and a pair of Albanian dwarves. He is actually currently employing a backdoor draft by keeping people in the armed service well after their time is supposed to be up. If you can find a legitimate source that has that quote listed (NOT Fox News), I'll eat my Mickey Mouse Ears when I hit Disney World Thursday through Sunday.Disney Guru wrote:I would vote for George Bush till the death, I mean after all John Kerry said:"that if he is elected as president,he plans on changing the draft, and everybody would have to go"

I think that he meant that Kerry said that if Bush was elected as President that he would reinstate the draft. I could be wrong but I think that's what he meant because that was the rumor that was going around.buffalobill wrote:Please let me know where you got that QUOTE saying Kerry would reinstate the draft.Disney Guru wrote:I would vote for George Bush till the death, I mean after all John Kerry said:"that if he is elected as president,he plans on changing the draft, and everybody would have to go"
