Which Disney DVD are you most anticipating on buying in 2005?
We know that 2005 isn't a big release year like this year but they still have Disney DVD's that are worth your time to buy or watch at least.
Some may be original films while some are sequels which some of you preferred to be called cheapsequels.

Ok just vote and come on go on and leave a comment.

I'll go with Bambi!!! :D

All the other ones are great and I'm willing to buy them all at least the ones I like.

Cinderella, no question. It's always been one of my most anticipated DVD's since I bought a player back in 2000.

Hmm, 2005 seems pretty strong so far. At the very least, there's already 4 double-disc animated DVDs, including the long-awaited debuts of two from Walt's era (Bambi, Cinderella).

I'm very excited about The Incredibles. Pixar just makes the best DVDs, and this one should be quite a bit different from the others, with different talent behind the film. First Pixar DVD in over a year, also.

Definitely excited (but to a lesser degree) about DuckTales: The Movie. Hopefully it will be more noteworthy than the other region releases. Never saw the Aladdin sequels, and I'd like to.

For now, the rest is stuff that has the potential to be okay or not so good: sequels to good animated films, and another Pooh movie.

Plus, the original Shaggy Dog should be coming! Another wave of Treasures. More TV season sets. I don't think 2005 will disappoint.

But enough with my general discussion.

To choose one, I'll say The Incredibles. That may be silly, since we haven't seen the film yet. But that kind of makes it more interesting to anticipate, too. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long, although I could see Disney wanting it to be a top holiday seller. Bambi would be my second choice.

I've edited MMPal's poll to combine the Aladdin sequels (since it apparently will be just one release) and include this and the Shaggy movies. Boombastic!

I have to vote for Bambi because I haven't seen it in forever, but I am also eagerly anticipating Pocahontas and Cinderella. I do see a few rentals out of the bunch. The Incredibles is, of course, a given.

Among my top choices would be Pocahontas, Bambi, Cinderella, and Lilo and Stitch. But since we could only pick one I had to go with Pocahontas. I have a special place for the 90s era movies because I grew up with them and saw them in theatres every summer. Also, Pocahontas looks to be a great DVD with the intergrated song and great features!

Anything that is an animated classic and has a "special edition" logo stamped on it, hehehe!

Well, the one I'm looking forward the most is "Pocahontas", since that is one of my favorite films and I've been waiting for this edition for so long. Besides, it will be good to put the very bad Gold Collection edition aside (though I won't get rid of it, hehe). The other ones are "Cinderella", "Bambi" and "Lilo & Stitch" (in this particular order).

Well, I'm trying to get the entire Aladdin story on DVD(movies plus TV series), so RoJ and AatKoT for me!

After that, Cinderella.

For me, the most anticipated DVD is "Cinderella". I can't wait to have it in my hands!

But I'm really very satisfied with the 2005 Disney DVD releases, since we'll be getting "Pocahontas" and the 2 sequels for "Aladdin", which I like very much. Also, here in Brazil, we'll be getting in January or February the special edition for "Alice in Wonderland" and this will be the 1st time that this DVD is released in Brazil, so I'm really excited to finally have it.

2005 will be a GREAT year! 8)

Marcos :)

Pocahontas for me, as it is definately one of my all-time favorites. Definately under-appreciated and misunderstood. After that, it's Bambi and Lilo & Stitch. Cinderella comes next, as I'm trying to get all the Platinum Edition titles, but also because it's my favorite classic fairy tale. :D

The Return of Jafar / Aladdin and the King of Thieves; Mulan II; Pocahontas and Lilo & Stitch SE I'll all have by the middle of November this year.

I already have DuckTales: The Movie - Treasure of the Lost Lamp.

The Incredibles & Chicken Little I'm looking forward to as films, I don't know what sort of DVDs they'll have yet.

I guess I'll vote for Bambi, as we know what will be on that. Cinderella is my least favourite classic (with Bambi being 2nd least fave, but it is the lesser of two evils that I'll be buying IN 2004).

The Masterpiece Edition of Lilo & Stitch ... am itching for that, as well as Lilo & Stitch 2. Oh, and Bambi. I'm looking forward to others, but those are the ones that have me excited the most.
