Little things you noticed in Disney Movies.

Post by Ciaobelli »

In this thread we can keep track of all the little easter egg type things in Disney movies.

I'll start this off with:

the other day I watched Cinderella and noticed this: when the prince's father and the Duke are hanging from the chandelier in the bedroom, the king cuts the chain holding the chandelier and they fall. When they fall you hear the trademark GOOFY SCREAM, thought it was pretty neat.

This section of the biggest Taiwan fan site has a LOT of inside jokes in Disney films: http://disney.jbug.net/Joke; it's in Chinese but you can easily navigate by looking at the English titles next to each film.

But I believe we have discussed about something similar before... http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... ght=#42026

I noticed that too!

In the Hunchback of Notre dame during the song 'out there' you can see Belle and carpet from Aladdin in the background, they're quite hard to spot though.

And Pumbaa's being carried away in that scene.

All that plus the hat is in the commentaries.

there was a U-HAUL truck in Bolt. It was very easy to spot, seeing as it's the tuck he ends up in.

The Queen's throne in Snow White has a peacock on it. Also there are snakes on her throne and in her spellbook referencing her connection to the serpent in the "Adam and Eve" story.

i thought i saw the carpet in one of the early PATF scenes... its being shaken out a window as the camera is panning along the rooftops.

also in lotties bedroom, on the shelf before we get to the girls, i saw a bear very similar to pooh, and the dolls are probably princess dolls.

Wow, didn't notice Pooh. I will have to look for him.

Also, in Charlotte's bedroom is a blue castle that looks quite similar to Cinderella's castle in the Disney logo.

In Fantasia 2000, one of the packing crates in the Tin Soldier piece has the name "Don Ernst" on it, the name of one of the producers on the film.

The Firehouse Five have a brief cameo of sorts in the toy store in The Great Mouse Detective (as does Dumbo).

At the beginning of Treasure Planet, you can barely make out a Stitch doll on the main protagonist's shelf in his bedroom (when he is a kid).

Also in Aladdin, when the Sultan is stacking figurines, one of them is Beast from BatB.

Cinderella doesn't have fingers when she is standing...?

Please explain, what scene, what?

Well, it says "fingers of foot." Cindy doesn't have toes when she puts her shoes on after she's showered. I wonder if dedos also means toes?

Yeah, "dedos de pie" does literally translate to "fingers of foot," but it means toes.

ooo, i didnt notice the castle. will have to check that out.

i dont know if it is pooh, but its looks too similar to not be him. note, he is the "big head infant" style, not the classic.

edit: i see the castle, and i think you are right! the "pooh bear" is right above the third point at 0.31. and studying that scene closer, im convinced the dolls are disney princess. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDP2yPtDDLk

In Aladdin, the only people who appear to live in the palace are Jasmine, the Sultan, and Jafar.
