Just wondering what line really shocked you the first time around. There's actually a decent amount.

Frollo's "unholy demon" line is pretty intense, especially considering that he's speaking about a baby for crying out loud...

I vote for the Queen's "bring me her heart" bit, from Snow White. The Queen was a chilling villain.

In my opinion it's a near tie between the Queen's (Snow White) line and Frollo's.

I ended up going for Frollo's though. I think it makes it even worse considering that it's supposedly a "holy man" saying it.

Snow White quote (the heart one), simply because it is the most violence mental image that Disney has ever used.

If Snow White were made today, it would be "Bring me her heart...

...shaped necklace". Such is the PC nature of Disney today.

I also had a parent once tell me when they brought back the Lion King DVD at the library that they had to explain "Kill him" to the kids (I think Scar instructs the hyenas at one point). I found that interesting because as an adult viewer (I was 16 back in 1994 I guess), it never occured to me that it was a hard case. She then said she heard her kids using the phrase, which shows what immitation monkeys kids are, and little things do influence them.

I think there is such a thing as being TOO PC though.

I voted for, who else...the wicked queen. And you can't get more wicked than, "Bring me her heart...in this." But I actually would choose a different line from the film as well. "No fear of that. The dwarves will think she's dead. She'll be buried alive! *laughs* Buried ALIVE!!!"

Those are great quotes. All of them very wicked. But the queen tops them all.

Although compared to some of the lines listed above this may seem benign, I think the most hateful line I have ever heard in a Disney feature is when Frollo says to Quasimodo:

"You are deformed
And you are ugly."
*and then Quasimodo repeats those same words to describe himself!

For someone in a 'parental role' to say that to a young person, to destroy their selfworth and fill them with such hated and insecurity about themselves is such a horrible act that it makes me feel so sad for Quasimodo.

Perhaps the worst thing about those lines is that in today's society, (moreso than the other lines above, which are DRAMATIC, BOASTFUL statements) they could very easily be repeated in a neighbor's house on your street, right now.

Mmy vote went for "This is an unholy demon, I'm sending it back to Hell where it belongs" -Frollo . Everything he says in that movie is awful. I think he is the coldest villians from any Disney movie. I am fairly sure that his character is that reason I dont watch the move to much. I cant stand people who are that heartless.

I went with "Bring me her heart"- Wicked Queen, although Frollo would be a close second.

I voted for Frollo's but lets not forget these quotes:

"Well here's your precious princess! Mua Ha HA HA HA!" -Maleficent
"We're not safe 'till his head is mounted on my wall!" -Gaston
"Now you know how it feels to be just like everyone else, isn't it just peachy" -Hades

Oh! And:
"In a moment I'll have what I came for while you end up as sausage meat! Alone on some sad plastic plate! No freinds, no family, no cause. Just smushed between two buns, smothered in onions, with fries on the side, Cruella DeVil has the last laugh. Mua ha ha Ha HA HA HA!"

Just a note on the Cruella quote. Not saying you got it wrong. You quoted her right. But I can't believe they had an English character saying "fries". Wouldn't it be "chips on the side"?
