Strange that pre- oreders for TLK are starting before SB. :?

I guess because TLK is Platinum? but that shouldn't make a difference. Sleeping Beauty is probably just as anticipated, if not more! Oh, well...

There wasn't a poll at the time, but it is done now. It should come as no shock, what my vote was for  . :)

I'm getting Lion King -Special Edition- Platinum Edition instead of Stitch! The Movie since I'm low on money. :(

I've never pre-ordered from the store, but my daughter loves The Lion King so much that I'll do it just for the lithos for her.

I'd definitely order "Piglet's Big Movie" and "Sleeping Beauty" long before the other two-Lion King has never really been one of my favourites, and I can wait until Stitch! goes on sale at Wal-Mart.

If they're not offering lithographs AND the Collector's Gift Set, that's pretty silly and I think I'll pass on the lithos.

I voted for LK, but I've also preordered Piglet's Big Movie (big surprise...), and I already own the Sleeping Beauty UK edition, so not bothering.

But I didn't order any of them through the Disney Store as the postage was REALLY expensive for O.S. shipping (like $40 US, which translates to about $70 for me and I could have bought 3 more DVDs for that here!).

Ordered through Amazon, as much as I'd like the lithos.

So am I disqualified from the voting? :P

Exactly. Like I said, I've never preordered from The Disney Store before but I'm DEFINITELY doing so with The Lion King.

Never gotten lithos before and don't plan to in the future. They're just not appealing to me and I don't preorder things anyways.

Wow...when did shipping from the online store get so damn expensive??
$28.95 w/ shipping/tax for The Lion King PE @ $19.95

I know there's some extra ummph in that box w/ the lithos but that seems a bit high.

Yeah, but most places don't charge through the nose like Disney Online. Amazon is quite reasonable, as are a few number of online etailers.

But yeah, I tend to get stuff in shops when I can. However, in Australia many of the best deals can be found online and you usually get free shipping with most places on preorders.

I'd say I buy about 70% of my DVDs online...

Well, I had forgotten the in-store date for pre-orders for TLK (July 15th) so after I went there last night I decided that maybe ordering online would be convenient...saving me another trip to the mall. Sometimes online ordering is not that bad (shipping-wise) but this is definitely one occassion that I'll endure the drive to save the extra $10 or so.
