Am I allowed to advertise Disney related videos here?
Sorry if this doesn't belong here, the forum does entitle "anything related to Disney videos and dvd's". Anyways...
The following are all in absolutely MINT / PRISTINE condition, totally flawless. Some have never been opened and still have their original sealant stickers in place & intact. I actually had the entire Gold Collections in their original factory seal up until 4 months ago when I gave into temptation and had to watch them. They were stored safely in my closet since and are still in the same condition as 4 months ago when I foolishly opened them. I only actually put 3 of them into the vcr and the rest never left their clamshells - believe me when I say they are PERFECT and I am the pickiest person in the world when it comes to this. Definitely collector's quality condition.
If anyone's interested, this is what I have to offer:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please Note: The years in brackets, refer to the video release date, not the release of the actual feature or content. I am including this as many Disney videos were re-released to the public throughout the 80's - 90's. I am selling ORIGINALS. The majority of these come in clamshell cased packaging as they were originally distributed...
Even though some of the content of these videos are slowly being intergated to dvd through the Treasuries, many of these videos - especially those Domestic (Disney Christmas Gift, Kids Is Kids, Golden Oldies, Wiinie The Pooh & Friends, etc..) will never be avialable in these context again, and in the condition being offered, they are highly prized as Disney collector's items. I am willing to sell the enitre collection of Disney videos posted above in one lot for one great bargain or perhaps offer some as individual titles at your preferance.
Please email me at Dooks21@Hotmail.com if anything you see above might be of some interest and we can discuss details, etc.
Thanks guys!!
Oliver.

I would but I don't have a credit card anymore to post items on Ebay...
I'm sure I could get about $500 for all the Gold editions and prob around $40-50 each for the domestic vids. I'll have to wait until I apply for a new card or one of my friends wants to help me out though. Until than, message boards are my only resource...

Btw, I'd be willing to sell the entire lot of 27 videos plus a vhs recording of a vintage Walt Disney Presents television show, "Your Host Donald Duck", with classic Walt footage and exclusive animated segments featuring Donald and his nephews, Professor Von Drake and other Disney characters in both black & white and color sequences, followed by a classic Welcome To Pooh Corner episode from the late 80's and possibly one episode of Dumbo's Circus included on the same cassette - excellent quality, all in one enormous lot for $700 US - free shipping.
That would be over 1000 hours of classic Disney animated shorts all of significant collectors value that will only increase throughout the years...
Again, many of these videos will never see the light of day again, even with the Treasury releases and in such condition, these are easily worth double what I am asking.
Of course I'd also be willing to sell individual titles as stated previously at a reduced cost but in the end that bargain value is much greater with my other offer, shipping is not included with single item orders.
- Ltd Gold Edition 1 & 2 titles: $45 US / each
- Domestic Videos:
* Kids Is Kids Starring Donald Duck
* Winnie The Pooh & Friends
* The Adventures Of Chip 'N' Dale
* Golden Oldies
* Rock Rhythym & Blues
^ $40 US / each
- Cartoon Classics First Series:
* Scary Tales
* Sport Goofy
^ $40 US / each
Every other title not listed above = $10 US / each (with the exception of Canine Commando & The Importance Of Being Donald = $13 US)
Again, please feel free to inquire about any title, some are still factory sealed and almost every single title listed above is in pristine mint condition. I will be happy to give full descriptions of each individual video.
Thanks.

same with a still in the wrapper for 30 years movies that most of them are coming out on DVD anyone who's stupid enought to spend $500 on your vhs is crazy since this year and next year they will be available on DVD. plus they are flawless i didnt see any blurs on the tape. and the case is like new. and i dont know what collector point of view you have. good luck trying to sell your overpriced VHSs'

okay I guess people who spend hundreds of dollars on film reel are crazy too. maybe i should ask my mom to throw away all her expensive antique furniture cause she could just go to ikea and buy newer stuff since its outdated and worthless from your perspective. you obviously have absolutely no idea what youre talking about here nor do you have any insight into the value of disney collectibles. i guarantee you these will always be worth more than any disney dvd will ever be.

you got some comprehension problems, who's talking about furniture. of course those VHS have some value but not $500 especially when they are coming out on DVD. who would be stupid enough to give you that much for a tape the wears out when you can have the same digitally mastered DVD for just $20+ think about it i can get it for $4.99 and have the cover box since i probably wont watch the VHS since i have the DVD. oh i have insight in disney collectibles. when you've work for the Walt Disney Company you get real insight! you can think what you want but you will never get $500 for those VHS. Good Luck!STASHONE wrote:okay I guess people who spend hundreds of dollars on film reel are crazy too. maybe i should ask my mom to throw away all her expensive antique furniture cause she could just go to ikea and buy newer stuff since its outdated and worthless from your perspective. you obviously have absolutely no idea what youre talking about here nor do you have any insight into the value of disney collectibles. i guarantee you these will always be worth more than any disney dvd will ever be.
Listen genius, you CANNOT, nor will you EVER be able to own any of those domestic videos listed in that context again on dvd or any other medium. You will never find Golden Oldies, Rock Rhythym & Blues, Kids Is Kids, the Christmas Specials, etc released in any other formats EVER. You will also not find a Ltd Gold Collection in a factory seal, nor will any dvd Treasury ever ammount to the value of such a collection. $500... are you joking?MickeyMouseboy wrote:you got some comprehension problems, who's talking about furniture. of course those VHS have some value but not $500 especially when they are coming out on DVD. who would be stupid enough to give you that much for a tape the wears out when you can have the same digitally mastered DVD for just $20+ think about it i can get it for $4.99 and have the cover box since i probably wont watch the VHS since i have the DVD. oh i have insight in disney collectibles. when you've work for the Walt Disney Company you get real insight! you can think what you want but you will never get $500 for those VHS. I read this post when it was first posted, and I was just checking it again. I think MMB is being a little ruthless here, and arguing when it shouldn't be done. MMB made his point he thinks its a bad deal. I dont think MMB should be criticizing everything about this and frankly I think he owes Stashone an apology (in my opinion)Maerj wrote:Whatever MMB.
When you read a classified ad in the paper, do you call them up and tell them that their item is "junk" (in your opinion) and overpriced? NO, you just pass over it and leave it be. Not everything needs a comment MMB. Sometimes you seem to post just to post...
Selling things on eBay is hard (I know, I just tried to sell a Little Mermaid DVD and was only going to get $16 for it, yeah right!) and so posting it here is a good idea. But there shouldnt be people making fun of things and starting to make personal attacks.
Stashone, I think your prices are reasonable, and if I wasn't in so much money problem right now, I would get some from you! VHS can be collectible in itself, not for watching but for having. I spend about $60 getting a VHS Collector's Set of Beauty & the Beast with Litho and Book and such...
