That's so awesome! Too bad I didn't make it here 'till after you left. I agree w/ Lumiere on everything except Festival of the Lion King, which is OK, but overrated.

Hey, I just thought of something. This should be a permanent topic where people who have the fortune to go to WDW soon can post their excitement here. That way other members can offer advice and tips. Later, upon the lucky travelers' return, he/she can post all about the trip!

Yay! Only three days, SofaKing! :mickey: I have like three weeks until we go. Make sure you go on Carousel of Progress! It's one of the best animatronic shows in the whole world! Also, don't miss the new Philharmagic. My sister says its a really good show. Speaking of which, if you see a short Asian girl (who might look hispanic) working at Fantasyland or Toontown and her nametag says she is from Rutgers University, tell her her brothers say "hi"! :)

Make sure you go on Carousel while it's still open! Once Stitch's Great Escape opens, it will most likely be closed up again.

Philharmagic is really good and is a must see.

Yes, Philharmagic is amazing, and a definite must-see!!

Sadly, I wasn't able to make it to Carousel Of Progress on this last trip. It's so rarely open that I've only been able to see it once, many, many years ago.

At Intercot.com, they don't list a specific time on there closing schedule. They just say it is opened seasonally. You should ask Guest Relations or pick up a Times Guide at the park when you get there. Chances are it will still be open when you go since it is still the summer season. Yeah, according to MousePlanet, it's in seasonal operation now, and until Stitch's Great Escape opens. The same for The Timekeeper, though it opens later than the rest of the park. Apparently, COP is opening with the park.

I never understood why some attractions open at different times than the park. Like how World Showcase in Epcot opens later than Future World. Is because of energy conservation or crowd control or something?
