Hercules sequel?
Was "Zero To Hero" the sequel to Hercules? Has it been released to DVD?

"Zero to Hero" was a collection of three episodes from the TV series strung together with new animation of Herc and Meg.
The premise is that Herc receives a package of stuff from his high school days. Meg wants to look, but Herc doesn't. Phil lets Meg know that high school wasn't the happiest part of Herc's life. Then they go into the "remember when" type thing.
It was released on VHS a few years ago simultaneously (sp?) with Belle's Tales of Friendship.

Actually, I don't think any of "Zero to Hero" was new footage. The stuff with Herc/Meg came from an episode called "The Yearbook", which was a series flashback. Maybe some of the leadins were new, but none of the bulk footage was.
"The Trojan War", huh? The series did a nice parody of the Trojan War in one of the episodes, so that would be a bit surreal.

"We'll tar and feather him"
"He's already got feathers"
"Then we'll pluck him, tar and RE-feather him!"
"Oooh, when I catch that parrot I'll roast him over a slow fire"
"Mmmm, roast parrot, my favorite!"
"You're just supposed to arrest him!"

With Troy out at the theatres (and Achilles of Garnier Fructus), there would be plenty more pop-culture references to be made.SalukFan wrote:

My guess is that this movie will be yet another direct to DVD sequal simply because of the little plot information that has been relased having the child and and everything. I could be wrong but this is my gut instinct.reaganhockey wrote:That is so cool! I haven't heard of this new movie? i just found out that this link isnt the direct link to the page. so first scroll all the way to the bottom where there is a link called "Other Upcoming Direct to Video Films" click that and it will lead you to that paga where there is a bunch of titles to upcoming DTV movies. you will find Hercules 2 on the list, click it, and it will lead you to that page.
the website talks about many things about the sequel.
