People who rock my world!

Post by 2099net »

David Ogden Stiers
There is nobody else in the world who even comes close to the greatness that is David Ogden Stiers. Everything this man graces turns to sheer gold.
David Ogden Stiers for President!

Christopher Walken
From playing the scary villain, to the king of comedy, to dancing in music videos, Christopher Walken is a star.
Chris. Topher. Wal. Ken. Rocks. My. World.

Audrey Tautou
Nobody, but nobody, can resist the charms of Audrey Tautou in Amelie. But even in the seedy, gritty underclass thriller Dirty Pretty Things she still oozes the same child like innocence.

Gary Cole
One of the most underrated actors of today, Gary Cole always delivers top performances. From the unbeatable "boss from hell" Bill Lumbergh in Office Space, to the evil Sheriff Lucas Buck in American Gothic (DVD set please!) to the voice of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law Gary Cole hits a home run each and every time!

Sandra Bullock
While other female stars like Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman mey be able to demand more money, remember one thing Sandra Bullock is da bomb!
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

No. Argu. Ments. There.

Is this a private function or can anyone talk about world rockers?

Tom Selleck
The only man who can really make a moustache work for him.
No, I mean really work for him.
He makes me want to put on a Hawaiian shirt and narrate myself across the islands.

Patrick Swayze
Yes, another man who has been out of work for a few years.
Still his body of work speaks for itself: Dirty Dancing; Road House; Point Break; Father Hood (all 2 work titles....spooky, or genius career strategy).
But nobody puts Patrick in the corner. Nobody.

Tim Rogers
Lead singer of You Am I.
To quote the man himself: "Like pawn shop furnitute or Arrowroot biscuits*/ I'm cheap and I'm everywhere and I'm good for five minutes". He is the only man who can out-windmill Pete Townshend (who You Am I are opening for next month); out husky throatify Paul Westerberg. A combination of ponce and balls makes this man rock (literally) my world.
Static engine blow the scene, a rumble in the old machine.

*a type of Aussie tea/coffee biscuit. Very plain, but dunkable.

Right this second I would have to say Robert Smith and the Cure are rocking my world. I just got and am listening to the new album and I love it. I always considered Disintegration their best album, but this one is really good in a completely different way.

I agree with all of the comments about Christopher Walken. One of the all-time Kings of Cool.

People That Rock My World

Post by Disney Guru »

Their Are Deffinately A Lot Of Them

Michael J. Fox Ever since I was little he was one of my main idols all of the good he has done in this world and I loved all of his TV Series and all of his movies. My 2 Favorite Movies of his were Back To The Future, and Life With Mikey.

Doris Day As you can all tell by my avatars and everything she is one of my favorite people. She has always been an idol to me and a roll model and someone I wanted to be like. I love the way that she has helped out the animals with all of her foundations like DDAL, DDAF I also loved all of her movies and all of her singing which to prove I love all of her movies I own all 39/39 of her movies. She Was The Best.

Audrey Hepburn Another Actoress who I loved and wanted to be like because of her goodness. She wanted to help everybody and she helped the poor children in 3rd World Countries she was also a great actoress she will probablly be most remembered for her roles in Breakfast At Tiffanys, and My Fair Lady. She was a great woman when we lost her in 1993 America Lost A Great Lady.

Katharine Hepburn Another great woman who starred in movies for many years she also was big on the Humanitarian Set. She and Spencer Tracy had a Love Affair that lasted even after his abrupt death in 1968. She was a great woman and played in some of the best movies ever made. Who Can ever forget her Memorable role a Jo in The late 30's Classic Little Women which has been remade repeatedly but her version will always be the best. She and Spence had a love for one another which was very powerful and a great thing. They made about 9 movies together. Their first movie together was Woman Of The Year and their last was Guess Who's Coming TO Dinner which is my 2nd Favorite Movie ever made. The World Lost A Great Lady when She Died in early 2003.

I know these arn't modern day stars like you guys talk about about but these are my favorite stars.

I must echo the Christopher Walken sentiments. I even watched Gigli  because he made an appearance in it.

Another actor is Gary Oldman, just an awesome awesome actor
Most Anticpated: Watchmen Terminator Salvation Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
