If so... how does it work? Is it worth it? Is it legit? Is it legal?
A friend is looking into it, and it seems on the surface like it could be a sweet deal, but I'm also wary of illegality or a scam. Anyone here have any testimony?

Generally, the trick with wholesale is you have to buy in bulk. And you don't get to pick and choose too much what specific titles and how many you get. While it may average out to a good deal, you'll have to spend a lot of money and will have a lot of stuff you don't want.
