Dear lord...
I haven't even seen the second one yet!
Robert Rodriguez is doing this one as well, so I guess I'll have to give it a whirl at some point.
Looking more forward to Once Upon A Time in Mexico, though
Oh, and BTW, Luke - you are Alf! How cool is that?

And is that Ricardo Montalban tucked away in the bottom right corner?

He still made a ton of dough off of that movie and everyone has unprofitable movies at times. It doesn't change the fact that he was in many successful films and became an American icon. I'm no huge Stallone fan or anything, in fact the only movie of his I bought on DVD was Demolition Man. I'm just saying that the guy was successful at what he set out to do and that is to make movies. He has had recognition from his peers, made a boatload of money and continues doing what he likes, despite the occasional setback.
I don't hate the guy or anything, but it just seems to me that he's forced to write unnecessary sequels to his films as the only things that he'll get to make that actually wind up in theaters. It's rough to start from the top with writing and starring in a Best Picture and then falling to direct-to-video projects and annual Razzie nominations.Maerj wrote:He still made a ton of dough off of that movie and everyone has unprofitable movies at times. In terms of successful films, well no doubt, he's had some big moneymakers, but I can think of only one film of his from the past 20 years that I've liked.
I fear the two sequels he's supposedly writing. Each Rocky sequel has gotten notably worse, and V was just...
In any event, I guess this gives some reasoning behind my feelings about him, although maybe the "loser" thing was a little harsh. But it does feel like he's lost a lot since "Rocky."

My question concerning this movie deals with the 3-D glasses. Since several people (especially kids) watch this movie at the same time, are they going to have more than 1 pair of glasses to watch the film?
