New DVD box idea
Well we have Double Disc case - Snow White
regular slip cover- Finding Nemo, pirates
we have opening Slip covers- platinum , special, and masterpiece edition
I had an idea for a new one, a thick case with nice artwork that opens like a book and has another DVD case inside, it could be like slip-covers but more like cases than covers with the regular cased DVDs inside, what do you think?

Wow those were awesome pictures! I especially love the case designs, the cover art, well, basically everything! I liked how for Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty, the disc art was also a part of the background art. Why is it that the international dvds are released sooner and they look so much cooler? The American versions are too kid friendly so kids pick them up and drop them into the Target of Wal Mart shopping cart...
Back to the main topic...I really like the way the case was for Pearl Harbor. If it didn't say it was a DVD on the cover, I would think it was a book.

I love the astetics of those types of box sets:) The loony Toons one came out with that set up last year and it's great.
At the same time I can apreciate how quickly you can get the movies in anout with the North American Disney set. I know if I'm fiddling with anything for more than a couple minutes my son is there wanting to see it for himself lol. My son can also really easily get into the fold out box sets and take the DVD's out which also freaks me out cause he likes to rub the dvd's/cd's against things and scratch them
.
A good comprimise would be to have the more expensive collector boxes that they did with the Lion King have the fold outs, and the regular platinum box sets the way they are now.

yeah
Man I'm so jealous, I love those covers, I really like the Peter Pan one. The Snow White one is exactly what I meant, it opens like a book to reveal the DVD case inside! I love it! Man and I thought the Slip-covers were great , these are amazing. I wish we had them here

So, kind of like a combo of the Treasures releases and the Pearl Harbor release?
