What's your favorite WB Drama?

What's your favorite WB Drama?

Ok, here's my Top Ten favorite WB Drama

1. Smallville

At first I thought the WB was going to ruin the Superman legacy but it didn't it make Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman) much popular to the eyes of teenagers and adults? This show has it all action, mystery and romantics.
I saw the first episode and got hooked on the show. I also have the first two seasons on DVD!! :D

2. 7th Heaven

Yes, this is a great Drama and family show. I started to watch it in the second season and got hooked. This is the perfect family everyone wants and maybe some think this family is to crazy to have 7 kids and a dog. Also they let their children's friends stay to live with them like for example Robbie and Martin. This is one of the strongest shows the WB had since the network went to primetime in 1995. Also the show is still going strong after eight seasons.

3. Buffy, the Vampire Slayer

This is the show that other networks did want but the WB picks it up because it was barely beginning its primetime roots. This show was great to begin to end but in my opinion the last season was kind of weak. It lasted five years on the WB then UPN out bid it when it was time to renew the show. It only lasted two seasons on UPN. Also the spin-off Angel is more of an adult show.

4. Angel

This show just finish up the series this year. I'm going to miss this show because it was just getting good. I guess I like the vampire action in Angel also the script is well written. I guess it's to late to save this show.

5. Charmed

I really liked this show when it was Prue, Pipper and Phoebe but since Shannen Doherty (Prue) left the show even got better. I guess Paige made the show more popular. Anyways I really enjoyed the six seasons of Charmed the only bad thing is it's against The Simpsons one of my favorite show so I usually watch Charmed later. I really hope Charmed will come out on DVD soon.

6. Everwood

This show does hold 7th Heaven audience and is worth watching. I really like Treat Williams he's so cool and so is Gregory Smith. I see this show as a Gilmore Boy show you know single father to take care of his children.
This show is well written and is very great to watch with your family since it teaches you how to solve your family problems. I guess I like the family type shows.

7. Gilmore Girls

This show was against Friends in it's first year then The WB moved it to Tuesday a better time slot. This show is also a well-written show and it creates strong bond for single mother and daughters. I really enjoy watching this show on Tuesday nights it's a great family show now day’s networks are into reality TV.

8. Dawson's Creek

I really didn't like this show very much. I remember the hype it had in 1997 and how popular it got. It only lasted five seasons on the WB.
This show was very wicked since the first season and the last season but it did have a happy ending. It really made the headlines since the teacher sleep with her student and one of the characters in the show is gay. So this show does have high standards for young adults. I really think this show should be for mature teenagers.

9. Roswell

This show was great in the first season but lost its audience during the second season. Then UPN pick it up for a third season but Smallville was against it on The WB and cream it. So UPN canceled Roswell. Very sad story. I love the theme song performed by Dido!! :D

One Tree Hill

After the pilot episode I never saw another episode again I really didn't like this show. Many people say One Tree Hill and the OC is very similar. No way One Tree Hill is a very dumb and horrible show. Why did the WB renew this and not Angel? :x
The Simpsons Season 11 Buy it Now!

8:00 The Simpsons

Everwood is possibly TV's finest show now that so many of the good ones are gone after this last season. It got my vote.

I've also been watching 7th Heaven since the very first episode, and love it.

1. Dawson's Creek
2. Gilmore Girls
3. Buffy, the Vampire Slayer
4. Charmed
5. Roswell
6. Angel

I absolutely loved the first season of Dawsons Creek: it was a really excellent tv-series with stories that were very recognisable, dramatic, intelligent and funny. The second season also had quite a number of great episodes but after the awfull ending of that season the series went very much downhill from then on (at least for me). I occasionaly see an episode of it now and then but when I think of DC I really only remember those first two great seasons. The other seasons are too 'soapy' for my taste.

Gilmore Girls I also love. Again a very intelligently written and very funny series. One of the few series that I really take time for to watch. I actually know people who are very much like the characters in the show so it is very recognisable. :)

Buffy is a lot of fun to watch now and then. I just never really got into the series the way other people did but I recognise that it is a great show though.

This isn't Disney-related. Moved to Off Topic.

I picked Buffy, Angel is a close second but at least Buffy had a real ending!!! Roswell was a good show too. Part teen drama, part scifi series.

I watch 7th Heaven to yell at the characters. They are all pretty stupid. Also, this is NOT a family show. Sure it may look like one but deep down its just another Aaron Spelling drama made up to look like a modern day Brady Bunch.

Smallville seems okay, but I don't watch it. I watched one episode where Clark is in a barn and there is this bad guy who has two women tied up. Then this bad guy is all like 'You can't save both of them, so you have to shoose, moohahaha!' I was like uh, yeah he pretty much CAN, he's Superman. I'll stick with the real Superman, thanks.

So, I think I am pretty much done with the WB for now unless they have another season of the Surreal Life.
