Other Animation SURVIVOR - Round 6

Post by AwallaceUNC »

In the last round, we had two consecutive ties over a period of 3 days!! After some discussion, it was agreed that both movies in the tie would be cast out for the round, and that we will begin the 1 Movie Per Round rule with this round.
Voted out so far...
Round 1 - Recess: School's Out, Teacher's Pet
Round 2 - Doug's First Movie, Piglet's Big Movie
Round 3 - The Jungle Book 2, Dinosaur
Round 4 - James and the Giant Peach, Return To Neverland
Round 5 - The Tigger Movie, The Brave Little Toaster

And now we continue the hunt for the next Survivor to join the ranks of our reigning champ, The Lion King!

It works just like the Survivor TV show. Basically, come on here once every 2 days and vote for the Disney animated film that you want to vote off, i.e., the one that you like the least.

For the purposes of the game, we'll use the site definition for 'Other Animation,' which is any animated film distributed by Disney, excluding Disney Feature Animation. This includes anything made by Walt Disney Television or Pixar, and any films that fall into special, outside categories of theatrical animation. You can see the site's list of Other Animation here.

At the end of the round, I'll come on here and announce who got voted off, and a new thread will start for the 7th round. This gets to be a lot of fun, especially when it gets down to the wire (as you hopefully know from the last game).

You can talk about your reasons for your vote, but I ask that you put the full title of what you're voting for in bold letters so that it's easy for me to count them all in a hurry.

We're into the top 10 now. As previously stated, starting with this round, only one movie will leave the Disney Island in each round, which is down from the usual 2 movies in the last 5 rounds.

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote off ONLY ONE of these movies:

DuckTales: The Movie- Treasure of the Lost Lamp
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Toy Story
A Goofy Movie
A Bug's Life
Toy Story 2
Monsters, Inc.
Finding Nemo

Voting ends at 11:00 pm (EASTERN TIME) on Tuesday, June 1st.

you guys are gonna kill me, but Toy Story is my least favorite, I get a certain feeling from all of the others and Toy Story (although it is GREAT) doesn't appeal to me like the others do. Now I know I'm alone in this, but I guess this is about voting of the least favorite so that's what I'm gonna do :)

Oh, I forgot to say earlier that I hate to see The Brave Little Toaster go. I bet some here might be surprised by the few movies that I would vote off before that one!

I'm surprised with A Goofy Movie and Duck Tales on here, people are voting off Toy Story and Bug's Life, but different strokes for different folks I guess.
