I'll let you know what I think of the content soon!
I'm so excited!
And I just can't hide it!
I'm beginning to think the idea of not stamping the tins is a marketing scheme. I figure that the time Disney held back the tins could be to simply churn out more copies than the official # they stated. Nobody's gonna figure out if their certificate had the same # as somebody else's. By eliminating the stamp on the tin, it's a lot easier to do this. Better stop, I think my insomnia is causing this waste of online space just so I can ramble on like this about Disney, etc.pezisgood wrote:Yeah, either somebody does not have the certificate in theirs or the whole idea of the certificates is just another big marketing scheme. I would be horrified if I opened my treasure up and it didnt have one in it.
If a got the #1 of a set, I would definitely keep it with all my pride and glory. Sure it would sell for a pretty price, but a memory like that is irreplaceable.Sully wrote:As with any limited edition, there are collectors who will pay more for a "low number" tin, but now that they're sealed inside the DVD, is this market dead?
On the flip side, if you popped open a Disney Treasure with 1/XXXXX, would you sell it?
