That's Quacktastic! New Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore DVDs

Post by Luke »

On August 31, Universal is releasing a collection of Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. SRP is apparently under $30, and the set will be available in either fullscreen or anamorphic widescreen (which Happy Gilmore hasn't been released in on DVD, yet). No word on special features yet, but you'll apparently have to get both movies, which is A-OK by me!

happy gilmore will be a go getter but i just watched billy madison recently and after having loved it when it first came out, my expectations were high for the re-viewing and i was really disappointed and the adam sandler antics weren't as funny as they used to be

This is a joke, right? The only good films this guy made were The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.

Correction:

The only bad movie he's made is Billy Madison, and it's not BAD, just comparatively worse. (But I haven't seen Punch-Drunk Love or 50 First Dates)

Actually, it's two words. Punch-Drunk is hyphenated. :p

I thought Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were very funny!!
I really like Waterboy the most I guess because it has football.
Adam Sandler makes great comedy movies like Big Daddy, First 50 Dates, The Wedding Singer and Anger Management.
His worst movies were Airhead, Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds.
I guess it pays of if you go on Saturday Night Live!!! :D
The Simpsons Season 11 Buy it Now!

Fox Sunday lineup:

8:00 The Simpsons
8:30 King of the Hill
9:00 Family Guy
9:30 American Dad

Ok, I forgot about Little Nicky. I wasn't crazy about it. I LOVE Airheads and Mr. Deeds though! :)

And who exactly was that dude you brought up?

OK, so I've never seen Happy Gilmore. Never really been interested. But you know Billy Madison sucked big butt!

I have never seen Happy Gilmore, but I have seen Billy Madison and I didn't think it was the worst movie ever to be seen...
Take Little Nicky, for example, much worse than Billy Madison.
