The nostalgia I felt visiting Disney World three years ago resparked my interest in Disney and resulted in rapid Disney DVD collecting, especially the animated classics. For collecting purposes, I get ALL animated classics and Treasures DVDs, but I mostly love the nostalgia
What would this wretched world be like without Disney?
Like Sulley, I'm buying them all for the nosatgia. When I watch these old movies and cartoons from the 40s and 50s, I think about my grandpa watching them in old single-screen movie theaters before there was TV, cable, VCRs, DVDs, video games, etc.
Plus, for the most part, the Treasures are just classic entertainment that is worth owning, unlike most of the new movies of today (from all studios -- I'm not implying today's Disney is worthless).

All of them the only thing that might happen is that Tomorrowland might be hard to find since it's only limited release.
I know all of them are limited relase but this one has the lowest number produce and that sucks.
I must get Tomorrowland first!!!

I am buying two of them right away... Later I will buy the other two when I have the money. Right now I am going to focus on the tins that I have been anxiously awaiting the most; Donald and Mickey Mouse 2...
Inigo: I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?
Westley: Do you always begin conversations this way?
Inigo: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.

They just don't have a whole lot of appeal to me for some reason. I prefer feature-length stuff, instead of a bunch of shorts. Plus the somewhat-high price is a turnoff.Ludwig Von Drake wrote:No, you're still a disney fan, but out of curiosity,Satoshi, why aren't you buying the treasures? and I guess I should have put a choice in for buying none of them.
Then again I may change my mind Friday when I get paid, and if so, I'll be getting Mickey and possibly Donald.

I may be the only one who thinks this and it may be unfortunate for those who cannot find the treasures later on, but I'm glad Tomorrowland is hard to find. I mean, how often does limited edition, mean limited. Most DVD's that say limited edition, are blatant lies as there are countless produced and have no limited value. Sorry for those who can't find them later on though.

Got em all! I truly find the historical content fascinating, the Wartime shorts even more so. There is just something strange in seeing the title "Education for Death" followed by "A Walt Disney Production."
I must have the Mickey and Donald sets as I love the classic characters and all of the shorts. I am also a huge scifi fan, so the Space set also has a lot of appeal for me. Any of the older material like that, that produced during Walt's time is an endless source of fascination for me.

Jules: You know the shows on TV?
Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?
