Broken link. But I cant imagine this will be all that good. we shall see though. I kinda wish they would just sell it back to Nickeldoeon. not only does he just belong there imo, they could also add him to nick allstars brawl.

Edit: wait, its gonna be about doug and patty's kids? I dont think I like that idea. I get it for live action sequels, but the whole appeal of animation is that you dont have to age them.

Edit:

character designs being proposed.

But this is all theoretical, and honestly I don't think it will happen. It's being pitched, that's it, nothing's been greenlit.

Poor Porkchop, that's surely not him. I liked both the Nickelodeon + Disney Doug shows so I think as long as Jim Jenkins is involved, this has promise.

Maybe that's Porkchop's grandson or something.

The character's position in the picture makes it look like Roger and Bebe are together, which is surprising, I recall her having a thing for Skeeter back in the day. I also like seeing Judy have a girlfriend, that makes adds up.

Doug isn't a show that I think especially holds up today, either the Nickelodeon or Disney version, but I have good memories of both from childhood and even if this doesn't get picked up, it's nice to think about. If it does happen, I hope Billy West can at least return to voice Doug and Roger.

It seems a continuation isn't happening after all.
Jim Jinkins wrote:I recently shared some old news with a podcast host that I was at one time developing a spinoff of Disney's Doug titled, 'Doug's Kids'. Articles have suddenly taken it out of context and ran it as an official announcement. It was an idea that came from a Disney executive who has since left the company...but it is nice to dream!
