I'm back from Mexico

Post by DDMAN26 »

Just got back from Mexico yesterday. Had a great time down there. Spent half the day at the beach, the other half at the pool. If anyone is ever looking for a great place to stay I highly highly recommend the Riu Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. I have never seeing a staff of hotel workers from the cleaning people, to the waiters, to the bartenders to the people who run the activities, work as hard as these people do. Absoulely A+ service.

I love Playa del Carmen. I have been there 3 times. My family prefers the more quiet layed back life style, so we always stay at the Gala, which is a small all inclusive resort with it's own private beech. If you are looking to get away from crowded places, go to the Gala. We never even left the hotel and everybody speeks English there.

Yes that is a very nice place to stay!

Also CANCUN is always a fun place to go to on vacations.

I am glad to see you back. So glad to see that you had a fun time.

I have never been either but I had seen the HOTEL before and it looks totally awesome.

We usually just go down to CANCUN when we go down that way.

When I go overseas next year (which will probably take the form of Japan-LA-New Orleans-Home or something like that), there is the option of a day or two trip to Mexico while staying in LA.

I look forward to it, as it is a country outsiders probably think they know way more about than they actually do...

Plus, hopefully El Mariachi is wandering about around there somewhere... :P
