marx brothers question
hello everyone. i need your help once again. i have been looking for one of my favorite films "Duck Soup" and have found out that it is out of print. i was wondering if it would be worth it to look for it on ebay or whatever and get the original copy, or if there is a newer better print version that is going to be released soon. any and all comments are welcome and thanks for the advice.

In an online article about the Warners Marx Bros. Collection, it mentioned in passing that Universal were working on special editions of their Marx Bros. films, which contains Duck Soup.
Beyond this I don't know. At a guess I would imagine it to be similar in format to Universal's original "Monster" releases - the film, an half-hour to and hour documentary, a commentary and trailers/images. As for a timeframe for the release, nothing was mentioned.
The UK has a Universal Marx Bros boxset on sale, but everything is barebones and it is rather expensive. So I'm holding out for a US edition, hopefully it will be soon.

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
Here it is, from DVD FILE:
Two legends of comedy, W.C. Fields and the Marx Brothers, will be getting the box set treatment courtesy of Universal Studios Home Video. Due on November 9th, The W.C. Fields Comedy Collection will include The Bank Dick, International House, It's a Gift, My Little Chickadee and You Can't Cheat an Honest Man, while The Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection boasts Animal Crackers, The Cocoanuts, Duck Soup, Horse Feathers and Monkey Business. each is presented in remastered 1.33:1 full screen and Dolby mono. There are no extras on either, and retail for each box will list for $59.95 apiece.
And I just bought the UK set a few weeks ago, which is missing The Cocoanuts.
Still I got it for a reasonable £23 for the four other movies, so I can't complain that much.
It's interesting too that they were all Paramount films originally.
