Jerry Stiller (1927-2020)

Deadline.com is reporting that actor/comedian Jerry Stiller, known for roles on "Seinfeld" and "The King of Queens" and for being the father of actor Ben Stiller, has passed away at age 92.

The elder Stiller's Disney roles include Harvey Bushkin in "Heavyweights," the voice of Pretty Boy in the 2004 film version of the animated series "Teacher's Pet," the voice of Timon's Uncle Max in "The Lion King 1 1/2" and the voice of Harvey in "Planes: Fire and Rescue."

I had no idea that Ben Stiller had a famous father. I hope he rests in peace and my thoughts and prayers go to his family during this time. At least he seemed to have lived a full and lengthy life.

Rest in peace. I really only knew him through The King of Queens, although I was never a fan of that show.

Didn't realize he was Timon's Uncle.

I guess my dream casting of him to replace don Rickles as Potatohead wont happen now. His voice sounds so similar there are people surprised to find out he didn't play him.

I'll remember him the most from king of queens. I've seen him in seinfeld of course, but he didn't seem to be in as many episodes.
