Favorite Traditional Animated Film By DreamWorks
So which of these is your favorite?
Re: Favorite Traditional Animated Film By DreamWorks
So since it's Passover, I decided to watch The Prince of Egypt again and that's probably the only DreamWorks film I like, not much of a fan of their humor in the other films, and this one is their most serious film.

I think they're all good, but Sinbad is my favorite. I had never seen Spirit or Sinbad until a few months ago, and I loved them both a lot.

1. The Prince of Egypt ~ Love this all around. The music and animation are beautiful. My favorite scene in the movie is the song for the plagues and Moses / Ramses are singing opposed to one another, followed by the opening of Moses' mother singing "Deliver Us." The music is so powerful. I even like "Playing With the Big Boys" and how it ends with Moses / God's snake devouring the two snakes of the priests / their gods'. And I love Whitney / Mariah's "When You Believe," too. Although I wish Whitney had performed "Colors of the Wind" for Pocahontas and Schwartz had been able to do the music for Mulan, I definitely wouldn't trade their involvement with TPoE for Disney. If only Joseph: King of Dreams had been as good.
2. The Road to El Dorado ~ I really enjoy this one, too. Tulio is my favorite character and I always loved EJ's music, too, especially the opening. I think I prefer this soundtrack to TLK's, personally...
3. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas ~ This always disappoints me when I watch. I just hate the horrid 3D effects, as much as I do the flying whales in Treasure Planet. That said, I love Eris... That character is the only reason I ever watch this. I always wished Proteus had a larger role in the film.
4. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron ~ I haven't seen this in years. My family had the DVD back when, but I lent it to somebody at school and they never gave it back.... I didn't really care for it from what I remember.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

While I prefer TLK's soundtrack, TRtED has a great one. It's a running joke between me & my husband, since to be funny he calls himself a god sometimes (like "I did this because I'm a god,") and it used to be mostly him, but the past few years it's just me, who will start singing "It's Tough to Be a God." #InsideJoke (And just like I can't say "Moana" without singing (Moana, make way, make way...), I can't say "El Dorado" without singing ("the magnificient...1000 years ago)... Good stuff.Disney's Divinity wrote: 2. The Road to El Dorado ~ I really enjoy this one, too. Tulio is my favorite character and I always loved EJ's music, too, especially the opening.
