I hope they make it more in the spirit of the 70s Blade, where his appearence resembled Shaft more than a tattooed gangsta.
Then there is the major difference between the comic book and movie version; in the former he is a human immune to vampire bites (back in those days it was enough to get bitten, you didn't have to drink the vampire's blood as well), and in the latter he is a vampire immune to sunlight.

As for Deacon Frost and Hannibal King, what is the point in introducing them if they are so different from the original creations that they have zero in common?
