Animated Classic SURVIVOR - Round 4

Post by AwallaceUNC »

Last time we voted off 4 more movies...
Round 1 - The Aristocats, Oliver & Company, The Three Cabelleros, The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad
Round 2 - Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Saludos Amigos, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Treasure Planet
Round 3 - Make Mine Music, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, Hercules

Recap:

It works just like the Survivor TV show. Basically, come on here once every 3 days (we're shortening from 5 days to 3 based on the last 3 rounds) and vote for the Disney Animated Classic (see the list http://www.ultimatedisney.com/ultimateclassics.htm) that you want to vote off, i.e., the one that you like the least! At the end of the 3 days, I'll come on here and announce who got voted off, and a new thread will start for the 5th round. This gets to be a lot of fun, especially when it gets down to the wire.

The four movies that receive the most votes will be kicked off each week, UNTIL we are down to the final 10 and 5, then it will change up some!

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote off ONLY ONE of these remaining movies:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Fantasia
Dumbo
Bambi
Fun and Fancy Free
Melody Time
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
101 Dalmations
The Sword in the Stone
The Jungle Book
Robin Hood
Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh
The Rescuers
The Fox and The Hound
The Little Mermaid
The Rescuers Down Under
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Lion King
Pocahontas
Mulan
Tarzan
Fantasia 2000
The Emperor's New Groove
Lilo & Stitch
Brother Bear

Reminder: Please post your vote alone in bold, as this makes it easier for me... there are still a few of you who need to read this  .

Voting ends at midnight (EASTERN TIME) on Monday, April 5th.

Again, The Sword in the Stone, which sticks out like a sore thumb, even compared to the two remaining wartime package features.

I vote for Melody Time. Good, but not good enough.

I was very disappointed that Hercules left us last round, I definitely think there are several that should go long before it. Luke- I love Sword in the Stone!

people should remove the bold text in the quotes. If they don't a vote can easily be counted twice if reading thru all bold answers.

... and we don't want that to hapen, do we.

lol, not a bad point, Karlsen. I usually just 'tune out' (with my eyes  ) the white area of quotes though when I'm counting. :)

As last time, my vote goes to: Melody Time

Very entertaining and enjoyable, but not on the par with those movies still left standing

I'm goin' with Fantasia.
Meega na la queesta.

Hmmm, I think I'm going to vote for The Emperor's New Groove, I saw this movie only once and I totally hated it, too much comedy and the animation style was pathetic, I hope it goes.
