I might have to pick up "Ducktails". Its not a great film but it was the first film I saw in the cinema, plus the theme tune is worth the money alone!

Well, these certainly came out of nowhere - especially the Timon and Pumbaa ones!

Once again, I guess Disney really doesn't want to sell any DVDs :P

I think I'll just have to pick them up on general principal...

Are these "Timon & Pumbaa" DVDs really coming out in the UK? There's no new details at Play.com and Amazon.co.uk doesn't have them listed at all. Maybe I should just chalk this up to that ineptitude of Disney UK at getting specs out that 2099net knows about.

I'm sure they were supposed to come out. After all, some of Europe has them. Sadly, it looks like nothing is happening regarding them in the UK at the moment.

I'm not sure DuckTales came out today either - Amazon.co.uk and Play don't seem to have any copies at the moment.

To quote Jens on the Ducktales Australia thread:
They are already advertising the dvd on the United Kingdom site and I got word from Buena Vista here that the dvd will not receive much attention anyway, they will just release it without any information given to the press.

I picked up my copy of Ducktales the Movie yesterday here in the UK. The Around the World with Timon & Pumbaa is a puzzler though. Play.com says it's out of stock. The only other online retailer selling it is woolworths and MVC (Both part of the same retail group). I've not seen it in shops but some folks are selling them on ebay.co.uk!

But MVC is claiming it will ship in 11 days, indicating it is not in stock. It's also odd that MVC doesn't list Ducktales.

Correction: It does, but only under a search for 'Duck Tales', not 'Duck'. According to MVC it ships in 24 hours.

What kind of extras does Ducktales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp have?
I'm just wondering since it may have it debut on DVD in Region 1 next year. :D

Wheee. And I managed to pick it up from Tesco today for a slightly more expensive £6.47.

It includes "Stand By Me"!

Has anyone seen the second volume of Timon & Pumbaa in the UK? (Dining Out With, I think it's called).
