Will see "Jersey Boys", directed by Clint Eastwood, for sure. Will avoid "22 Jump Street" like the plague that it looks like. I can go to my local bar to hear that kind of language.
Saw "The Fault In Our Stars" last night, and both my wife and I were drawn to tears in this wonderful, one of a kind, love story. Don't miss this one is you are a romantic person and want to take your significant other to see a good movie!!

Re: June 2014 movies
I caught a matinee of Jersey Boys today it is such a beautiful film, so well acted. As a huge fan of the music from the era as well as must admit I adore Frankie Valli I found myself swaying with the music through the entire film. Well written Clint Eastwood did a brilliant job. Was saddened that there were only 4 other people in the theater besides myself. It's almost like the movie is too intelligent and well done to do well. Hope that i'm wrong in that assumption. There was a couple in their mid 60's a couple seats down from me who were rather outspoken and leaned towards crass language. Enjoyed hearing their commentary after every trailer as well as a few comments made during the film. Also I won't ruin it but the way they did the end credits is very unique and a delight.

I'm only speaking on animated films here, but as long as they all have to be CGI my answer will be "None".

Are there any mods out there brave enough to stand up to this whiny 2Disney4Ever??? We all know that he is enthusiastic about 2D animation and will not get off his bandwagon about slamming an animated film because it is CGI and not 2D. He truly needs to get a life, and hope that it is somewhere else where we don't have to listen to his whining anymore!

I've been trying to tolerate it, but you're right, this consistant whining must stop right now!dvdjunkie wrote:Are there any mods out there brave enough to stand up to this whiny 2Disney4Ever??? Yeah well, it's people like you who kind of get on my nerves as well, thinking you can just tell me off with your "2D is dead: get over it!" speeches. You're the one with the attitude I don't like.dvdjunkie wrote:Are there any mods out there brave enough to stand up to this whiny 2Disney4Ever??? Also, I could easily find things to talk about here that don't have to revolve around today's Disney movies if people here weren't so obsessed with those topics, cause I personally have no reason to care about what Disney is making right now.

And what part of Ultimate Disney/DVD Dizzy don't you understand. This is a forum to discuss Disney and most all of their affiliates, and there are forums to discuss Off Topic, Movies and TV, and Games and Polls.
You don't need to always be harping on your love of 2D. Most of us love the early Disney canon with all of the beautiful 2D hand-drawn animation. It just costs too much to do films that way and most of the company's that do animation, have switched to the digital format. There might be a 2D here and there, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it!

In 2 Disney4ever's defense I remember him mentioning that he has Asperger's in the thread related to that which could explain his fascination with this topic. Try and be patient.dvdjunkie wrote:And what part of Ultimate Disney/DVD Dizzy don't you understand. Re: June 2014 movies
Well yes, I am autistic and I'm very passionate about traditional animation as an art and the kind of quality it's capable of as an art. That's why I often go to such great lengths to support 2D animation and defend it against anything I see to be a danger to it's existence, which in this case would be CG movies and their danger of wanting to phase out and replace 2D animation.Disney Guru wrote:In 2 Disney4ever's defense I remember him mentioning that he has Asperger's in the thread related to that which could explain his fascination with this topic.
