Father's day is a tough one for me too. All of the cards read "You're the best dad in the entire existence of fathers" which isn't exactly how I'd describe my old man. I still care for the guy though lol

Everyone usually loves their parents deep down but over top of it are feelings of dislike, hate, or carelessness. I'm sure deep down your father loves you while over top of that he is not a good father that shows his love.

Meh, I wouldn't consider someone who ups-and-leaves as a very good father. Lucky enough to pay rent, with the money we're given...

I'm so dang sorry to hear something like as big and bad as that. : ( Well if he gave you any love at all before he left you, you can love him for that, underneath the sadness and anger you feel toward him.
