Which title are you trying to access the Virtual Vault with? Also do you have any other BD Live titles that work?

My advice to you is to forget about it and instead track down the original DVD's to add to your collection. You'll be better off. The Virtual Vault is garbage. I myself have tried on a few different players, and can never get it to work. That's why if I do buy an old Animated Classic on Blu, I package it with the original DVD's.

Thanks for the advice. I really figured out that much :x I'm still tracking dows the original laserdiscs for their bonuses. Will this idiocy never end ? Seriously ? I mean, it's not a money waste to make some hard copy of their "virtual vault" stuff if we want to get it. Mail in offer exists for that. Anyway, is there any exclusive bonuses in their online garbage that were not avalaible on dvd or lasersdiscs ?

From what I've heard/read the majority of people are not happy with BD Live overall. I personally would rather have the features on a disc. There have been a few good things done with BD Live, but overall I don't think its worth the trouble.

When Blu Ray discs started, there were many bonus features on them & the BD Live content seemed promising. Now that Blu Ray is successful, it seems they are slimming down all of the extras & making budget level versions of classics that deserve the royal treatment. I've seen them go as far as to require us to buy the 3D combo packs to get some decent bonus content even if we don't & have no plans to ever go 3D. BD Live is to Blu Ray as what Alternate Angle is to DVD (It's there but rarely is there anything worth accessing the feature for). Such a shame!

Fantasia Anthology all the way.
I thought Disney had scrapped BD live. Maybe that was UK only.
I also got the Fantasia blurays and was shocked at the complete lack of special features.
Settling Soul mates? That is grim. And I've played Monopoly alone.

Hey Monks,

Frankly, I have never tried the Virtual Vault, and I think it is an idiotic idea. BUT.... since you are dealing with Fantasia, you are in luck.

You mentioned you have a blu ray drive on your computer, right? Well, in one of the two blu rays (I think its the F-2000 one), ALL THE STUFF FROM THE VAULT IS BURNED ON THE DISC. But you need to access it through a computer, not a regular blu ray player.

Refer to the review of it on this very site: they talk about this near the end of the "Bonus Features" section...

I also have some problems with the Disney BD-Live program. I'm from Romania, and I purchased the German editions of Snow White and Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray. Both of them are equipped with the program, and my 3D Blu-ray player is also BD-Live capable. I purchased the player from Germany, but it is also available in Romania, with the same capabilities. When I try to access the program, it says I have to make certain settings, and they gave me the official website as a link. I went there, but there are no instructions. Can you guys tell me what to do? My player is BD-F5500E, Samsung.
