Finding Nemo on DVD in the Netherlands!

Post by Scabbie »

On March 31 Finding Nemo will be released in the Netherlands. I'm so exiting! I saw the film in november in the cinema and I just love it! I hate it that we've had such a late release of the film in the cinema. A difference of 6 months! But next month I can enjoy the movie on my dvd player!

Yes, I am also very excited about this dvd! I live in Belgium and we are practicly getting the same dvds as the Netherlands (just with a different code on the side and EAN number). I think we are getting the same dvd with the same features on it as the one in the USA, just with a slightly different cover.

Is there in Belgium a Flemish spoken version of the film?

Yes, there probably will be, because some famous belgian tv-stars (Uyterhoeven, Mortier en Vanoudenhoven :P )did the voices of the sharks, and it would be a shame if they wouldn't be there on the dvd.

So, in Holland we will get another version of the DVD. We have the Dutch spoken version and in Belgium there is the Flemish version.

dutch Disney dvd's dont have a flemish spoken language track, so you will get a different dvd.. but other than that there will be no differences.

Don't realy get the big point about a flemish track but it is probaly to get more money for disney. they also could have done a dutch/flemish combined cast. a little like Timon and pumbaa a two flemish speaking charakters

I think that's a bad idea. I live in the Netherlands so I want all the voices to be Dutch. Timon and Pumbaa were hilarious. But I don't like the idea that some characters in all the upcoming movies speak Flemish. I think Flemish people don't want the Dutch voices insteed of the Flemish voices.
